"No, please!" My eyes shot open as I heard Forge's voice. I sit up and rub my eyes, and see Forge sitting on the floor, his head back against the wall and his eyes closed. Shit.

"Don't hurt them. I'll do anything." He paused for a moment, completely frozen. "Dad stop,no!" He yelled, before curling up in a little ball on his side.

I fall off the couch in my rush to get to him. I shake him slightly, "Forge, wake up, it's okay!"

"Get the hell away from me," He shouted, attempting to push me back but missed. I looked around anxiously, for something, and spotted Cliff on the other end of the couch, asleep.

"Cliff, get your ass up!" I yell as I pounce on him.

"Ouch, what the hell, woman?" He yells, his eyes quickly opening.

"Forge's having anightmare," I said, pointing a finger at him. Forge started shaking, and let out a whimper after sitting still for a minute.

"Great, just great." Cliff picks me up under the arm and quickly sits me down on the couch. He lumbers over to Forge and I get up to follow behind him."Forge, wake up. It's okay, buddy," Cliff said, shaking Forge's arm.

"Please, don't hit me no more," Forge cries, covering his head with his hands.

"Forge, wake up!" I yell. I can't stand seeing him like this. "Please," I whisper, sinking to my knees infront of Forge.

"Arrow!" Forge yells, trying to back away from us.

"Shut it, you're gonna wake everyone up!" Cliff said, shaking him some more.

"Please, stop. No!" Forge yelled.

"Leave Ash the hell out of it."

"Dude, shut up," Cliff said, grabbing Forge's shoulder and shaking. Forge let out one more scream before shooting his eyes open.

"Wha, what's goin' on? Where are we?" Forge asked, his voice hoarse and ruff. He sat up a little straighter and looked around.

"We're at the house. You had a nightmare," I said. I tackled Forge, giving him a big hug.

"So it was just a dream?" Forge asked.
"Yeah, you're fine," I whisper, saying my head on his shoulder.

He returns the hug before running his fingers through my hair. "Oh thank The Lord!"

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked into his neck, arms still around him.

"Nah, hard pass," Forge said shrugging.

"Alright," I sighed, closing my eyes.

"Ash, go on up to bed. I'll stay down here with Forge," Cliff suggested, getting off of the floor.

"Why?" I questioned, turning my head to look at him.

"Because everyone will be up soon. And I'm positive you don't wanna hear everyone squealing like a 7 year old on Christmas morning," Cliff says rolling his eyes.

"And you do? I'll stay and suffer with you," I answer, readjusting myself.

"What time is it?" Forge asked standing up and holding me like a child, my legs wrapped around him.

"About six. Everyone should be waking up soon," Cliff answered.

"Okay," I murmur. My head hurts, wonder why? Note to self: take a Tylenol.
