Namjoon groaned as he rolled out of bed. Their alarm clock was blaring, and Jeongguk had yet to move from where he was lightly snoring against the pillow. Annoyed, the older of the two got up to turn it off, cursing Jeongguk and the entire Jeon bloodline as he did so.

It was hard to remain positive, the longer that he remained pregnant. His feet ached, his tummy was getting bigger, and cravings were a thing now. The other day he'd weirded himself out when asking for koolaid pickles. Jeongguk had taken it all with stride, though, and made the other what he wished for.

Shuffling towards the bathroom, Namjoon shrugged his bathrobe on and glanced at the clock again. They'd planned to go shopping today, and he wanted to make sure that it was early, or else he'd be too lazy to really get anything done.

"Gguk," he mumbled as he moved back to shake the other awake. "Jeon Jeongguk."

"Mmf, wha-" Jeongguk grumbled back, turning over onto his stomach and completely ignoring Namjoon.

Huffing, Namjoon stopped whispering and started to shove Jeongguk across the bed. If he didn't want to wake up, then he'd have to be forced to. Cursing his fiancé for his dead weight, the older of the two managed to shove him until he was nearly at the edge, before he grew tired and irritable.

"Yah! Jeongguk!" He shouted, punching the others back and making him jump.

"What? Is the baby here?!" Jeongguk asked frantically, sitting up with his eyes still closed, as if he couldn't function properly enough  to realize that they weren't open.

"No, the baby is not here," Namjoon chided, a little amused and always fond.

"Oh."

Namjoon laughed when the other instantly relaxed, and finally opened his eyes. Jeongguk took a look at him laughed and groaned, rolling around to stretch and scratch his stomach.

"I believe we had plans today, mister." He scolded, slapping lightly at the firm muscle on his lovers stomach.

"We do," Jeongguk agreed with a yawn, glancing at the alarm clock. "I wasn't aware that they started at.. 6 A.M."

"Well, now you know."

Jeongguk groaned and Namjoon turned around to make his way towards the bathroom. "Oh, and Jeon?" He called, once he reached the door.

"Hm?"

"Join me in the shower," Namjoon made sure he was watching, before he dropped the robe in its place.

The younger male had never awoken quicker in his life.

After filling Jeongguk up on scrambled eggs, bacon, kimchi and some rice; they were able to make it out of the house. Surprisingly, the shower had lasted a little over an hour, and so they were running late — according to Namjoon — but at least they were making it out before 9 A.M.

"Check off the bread," Jeongguk announced as he settled the loaves in the cart. Namjoon hummed and crossed it off. His job at shopping was merely to sit in the basket and make sure this his fiancé got everything that was needed.

Of course, they got the strangest stares, but neither could seem to be bothered. On Namjoon's end, he got to watch Jeongguk's arms strain against the white shirt he was wearing as the younger male pushed the cart. And for the other, he got to admire how absolutely adorable his lover was while he pointed at different items; directing them around the store.

"Wait, Koo, can we get gushers?" Namjoon asked, standing up in the cart to try and reach them off the top shelf in the store.

"Sit down," Jeongguk scolded in a hiss, smacking at Namjoon's thigh to make him sit back down. "You're going to get hurt!"

"Yes daddy," Namjoon agreed with a solemn nod.

Jeongguk huffed as he reached for the candy, but couldn't deny that his cheeks were flushing a little with the nickname.

"Aw, are you flushing because I called you my daddy?" Namjoon teased, earning him a light thunk on the head.

"I'm not your daddy, you menace. I'm the dumplings daddy," he scolded, reaching for a second pack. Namjoon could finish a single box, alone, in under ten minutes after leaving the store.

"That you are." Namjoon agreed, making Jeongguk grin dumbly as he leaned down to capture the other in a deep kiss.

"Ahem.." someone cleared their throat off to the side. "Yeah.. can I get some gushers, please?"

Jeongguk flushed and apologized profoundly, while Namjoon's laugh rang out even as he was pushed away from the scene.

"Do you ever wonder what the gender is?" Namjoon asked, socked feet propped against the dashboard as he chewed on gushers from the box.

"All the time," Jeongguk admitted as he finished putting the rest of the bags in the back seat. "I hope it's a girl."

"No way!" Namjoon gasped, scandalized. "I really want a little prince. One with my dimples and your doe eyes."

Jeongguk chuckled as he got in the front seat, buckling his seatbelt and glancing over at Namjoon. "Yeah? Do you think he'd look more like me, or you?"

"Definitely you," Namjoon agreed right away. "Your brother and you look so similar, you have to have dominant genes. Whereas, I don't really look as close to my family as you do. I think my genes would be more subtle."

Jeongguk kept quiet, but inside, butterflies churned in his stomach. He hadn't realized that his fiancé had put this much thought into what their little baby would resemble.

"Yeah," he sighed out, happily.
