3rd person POV
At the Argus base, the Atlesian guards watch the screen as Cordovin's mech is seen trying to swipe at the airship Maria and Oscar are in.
Cordovin: You just couldn't keep this rivalry between us, could you, Calavera?! You had to rope in children to fail with you!
The guards cheer on their boss as she fires another shot from the mech's arm cannon. Unbeknownst to them, a red dot appears on one of the radar's screens approaching Argus.
Back at the cliffside, Ruby is still holding onto Crescent Rose for dear life. Oscar notices this from the airship.
Oscar: Ruby!
Red: Where's Kai?!
Ruby eventually makes her back up to the top of the cliff by using Crescent Rose's blade to climb back up. She regroups with Weiss, Lie, and Qrow.
Oscar: *over comms* Ruby, can you hear me? Are you guys okay?
Ruby: Are we okay?!
Oscar: I know, we were supposed to lay low, but listen! I think I finally found a weakness!
Nora: Well, we're all ears.
Ruby and her friends notice Nora helping Jaune over, but Kira was really injured.
Ren: *relieved* Guys!
Ren runs over to his teammates. But Juane noticed Kira was bleeding and injured.
Jaune: Oh no. Kira!
Jaune went to her, and on his knees. He goes carry her up in bridal style.
Jaune: Kira, speak to me!
She slowly move her head toward him.
Kira: *weak* Hey. Did we won.
Jaune: Oh no.
Then Alpha appears next to him.
Alpha: Put Kira somewhere save, for I can heal her.
Jaune: How long will it take?
Alpha: Don't know, it will take time, but this is really critical.
Jaune: This is my fault, I should use my semblance right-
Alpha: Jaune!
Juane: this is not your fault. Now go halo the others, that's what Kira would want you to do.
Juane got his act straight, and remember something.
Flashback
Back in the house, before the go steal a airship. Jaune was in the couch, cleaning his sword. Then Kai walks behind him.
Kai: Jaune.
Jaune: Oh, hey Kai.
Kai: Do you have time?
Jaune: Uh, Yeah, What is it.
Kai: I'm giving you this.
He grabs from his belt from his armor and small bag, tied up. Puts in Jaune's palm of his hand.
Jaune: What is this?
Kai: Is something that will help you, but you have to use when the time is right, for emergency.
Jaune: Why are you trusting me with this?
Kai: That's for you to find out Jaune.
