OVA Chapter 2

Weiss's POV

It was morning I slowly open my eyes and yawn, I stood up and I was on top of Zack chest.

Zack: Good morning, sleeping beauty.

I looked down seeing Zack smiling at me, and I lean my head close, pressing my lips into his. We both start kiss passionately, and I back away.

Weiss: I love you.

Zack: I love you too Weiss.

Then we both get up from bed and we both stretch.

Zack: What do you want for breakfast?

Wiess: Surprise me.

Zack: Alright, what about Blackberry pancakes?

Wiess: You know I always enjoy your cooking.

Then something fall in front of me, I look down and it was black substance.

Weiss: What the-

Then another black substance fall on the floor, then it started to rain black substance inside the room.

Zack: Weiss?

I turn around and gasp in terror, black substance was leaking out of his mouth, nose, ears and eyes.

Weiss: Zack, no.

I run toward him, putting my hand on his shoulder as the body was getting cover with the substance.

Weiss: *panic and scare* Zack!!!!

Then the substance went crawling up to my arm, consuming me. I was screaming in terror until I felt couldn't scream as it consume me and everything goes black. I open my and stood up in panic, sweating and I was breathing heavily, realized it was a nightmare. I was in the quarter in the base, is been already 9 days after Zack death.

Kai: *other side of the door* Weiss.

Weiss: *weak voice* Yes.

The door open and Kai enter.

Kai: Are you alright?

Weiss: *holding her tears* Yes.

Kai: I know you're lying. And it's obvious I don't my lie detecting skill.

Weiss: Why are you here at this hour?

Kai: Guardian work.

Weiss: Of course.

Kai: Weiss, you need to come out, everybody is worried.

Weiss: I just want to be alone.

Kai: Yeah not gonna happen.

Weiss: Just leave.

Kai: If Zack was here-

Weiss: Don't, just don't.

Kai: He will say keep moving forward.

Weiss: Keep moving forward, huh. Tell me did you kept moving forward after Emilia?

Kai: ...No, but then, I met Ruby. Look I know how you feel right now, but just stand and go outside. Your friends are waiting for you. Don't push them away, don't be like me, isolating yourself in dark, letting the past hold you down until you give up.

I looked at Kai, he then hugs me.

Kai: I miss too, but you he doesn't want to you to give up.

He stands up and looks at me.

Kai: When you're ready come out, see Ruby, Yang, Blake and everybody.
