You're in the car with your best friend and crush, River Phoenix when the conversation somehow switches to who you like. 

"Come on, Y/N, who is it?"

"Aw, come off it, Riv, I don't wanna talk about it."

"I'm your best friend, you can tell me." He assures you. 

"Uhh...no. Why do you wanna know so bad anyway?" You ask, trying to avoid his question.

"So I can beat the guy up." River jokes.

"You really wanna know?" You ask him.

"I really wanna know." 

"It's this guy I'm friends with. We've been friends for a good bit of time, and he's kindhearted, open minded, caring, and so good-looking." 

"Oh." River turns and looks out the window, seemingly displeased. 

"What's the matter, River?" 

"Nothing." He becomes slightly closed off. 

"Can you guess who I'm talking about?" You ask, biting your lip to keep from smiling.

"I don't care to know anymore." River admits, looking defeated.

"River Jude Phoenix, it's you. You jealous idiot." You burst out laughing. 

"Me?" He looks confused. 

"You!"

"Yeah well I guess I sorta like you too, Y/N."
