In my hand was a sheet of paper. On it was printed " Application for manager ".

Simple questions. Application for? Volleyball manager. Age? 17. Class? 2-4.

I answered them all like straight fire, placed it in the box outside the staff room, and left for the clubroom to change.

By the time I got to the gym, the whole team was seated on the floor, " setting " balls to each other as they waited for my arrival.
