This chapter is pretty short because, the next chapter is the actually going to be the last chapter of this book. I've said before that this book was not going to be that long, so I'm sorry if the end is coming a bit suddenly. Just please keep in mind that everything that has happened in this story is true. Anyway, here's chapter 24.
"But hey, I'm not going to get involved anymore. You do what you think is best, but remember, me not getting involved does not mean that I don't care about what happens to you. I'm still here, but I'm just not going to text him for you or even talk to him." I explain to Kassandra that as much as I hated to say it, that I felt that when she told him that she wasn't interested, he was going to leave and not care anymore.
That it was a harsh thought, but he was the kind of person to not try anymore and move on after being properly rejected. Kassandra was the only one making him think he still had a chance and that if she truly didn't want to date him or even say that she had a complete crush on him, then she needed to end it since he thinks that she wants to date him. Kassandra looked down at the floor as I was explaining everything to her and I could tell that she knew my words were true.
Kassandra texted him a very long paragraph (That actually made the two of us laugh hysterically when we saw how long it was) that explained that she did not want to be with him and, to be frank, he needed some kind of professional help since he didn't seem to understand that he was hurting people.
There was no immediate response. It was only till later in the night did we finally hear the familiar sound of Kassandra's phone vibrating.
