Christina barged into her room and threw her books onto her bed. Aria followed her in and shut the door silently behind her. She looked at the bed next to Christina's to make sure that the room was vacant and to her luck it was. Christina opened one of her books and got to work on what seemed to be her potions essay. Aria sat down next to her and looked in her direction with longing. Aria continued to stare at her just as Christina continued to work on her essay. Aria slammed Christina's book closed on her piece of parchment.
"Okay you have some explaining to do."
"What are you talking about this time Aria?"
"How did that venom not kill you? I saw it seep into your skin. How long have you been able to do this?"
"How do you think that I can keep a huge venomous snake as a pet with no cage?"
"Azazel is venomous?"
"Yeah I just never told you 'cause I knew you'd freak out."
"Well that makes me feel good about how many times you had me feed him."
"Well I didn't want to do it and I figured as long as you didn't know he could kill you, you wouldn't see him as a threat."
"Okay then. So I was thinking that maybe we should go to Hogsmead this weekend. They're finally going and they haven't gone in forever."
"Aria, you know we didn't get our permission slips signed."
"So what that hasn't stopped you from other things."
"It's not happening Aria I can't afford anymore detentions."
"Come on. Loosen up a bit why don't you."
"No. I'm not doing it!"
"Christina please. I really want to go. Why can't we? We can just take one of the passages."
"No.
"What's holding you back?!"
"I won't do it!"
"Why not?!"
"Because that's how people get in trouble with the Ministry Signus!"
"What did you call me?"
"Aria. What else? I have a lot of work to do. You should probably go."
Without another word, Aria walked out of the room. As she left she dropped something on Christina's bed and slipped back out the door. Christina lifted it up to reveal a piece of parchment. She unfolded it and it revealed little ink footprints with various names of wizards and witches on campus. It was the Marauder's Map and clearly Aria expected Christina to meet her at one of the passages for the day of the Hogsmead trip.
With no further hesitation, she rolled it up and tied it with a black ribbon. She whistled and in flew Bear her beautiful brown barn owl and handed it to him. She spoke to him with a stern voice "Send this to Draco." she tied a small note to it as well. It read: Destroy at all costs. Don't let anyone else find it. Remember: I solemnly swear I am up to no good; Mischief managed.
