Waiting

Waiting for someone you love makes you think about quite a lot.

You think about all the memories you have and the bad ones seem to act like a clot.

They build up and up and create memories that have not even happened.

They keep on being created and make you feel darkened,

Extending and expanding like a dark cloud,

Even though for her you stand out in the crowd.

You start second guessing yourself and things that she has said,

And you make yourself believe that she is seeing someone else instead.

You swear to yourself that she truly does love you,

But you need her words to prove that it's true.

Although you beg for her to come and talk to you,

She needs to calm people down that are blue.

You begin to realize that everything you have thought about are lies,

And the memories that your brain has made up begin to die.

You calm yourself down and rethink the whole situation,

And remember that she can resist any temptation.

As long as you never do anything that would need a redo,

She will always remain true to you.
