Tord had been at home for hours now. He was waiting till he could leave.
He needed to leave without Edd or Matt knowing. They'd never let him leave right now.
He was thinking that he should leave in the early, early morning.
Which it was almost 5 in the morning. Maybe that would do?
He got up, walking over to his bedroom door and opening it.
He'd poke his head out, not hearing anything. He'd assume he was good to go.
He stepped out, closing his door quietly.
He'd walk downstairs, flinching everytime a stair creaked.
He'd open the front door, walking out and closing the door as quietly as he could.
He was tired- but that didn't matter.
He'd start making his way to the forest.

After a while, he got there.
He'd pause, thinking about he'd get Tom to come out.
Insults. Perfect.
No flaws in that plan.
He walked into the forest, more confident now. He'd walk down the path to where he had found the dead dog corpse. It was gone.
Weird. But whatever. He'd turn and make his way to where he had gone yesterday.
The place where he had gotten his concussion. Ah. Such fond memories.
He glanced around, thinking that he should go in the direction Tom had gone the last time.
He'd walk for a few minutes till he came to a sort of clearing.
"Thomas!" He called out, starting to pace in circles.
He noticed the slope next to him and decided to check what was down there.
He'd carefully go down the slope, reaching the bottom rather quickly.
"Tom?.." He mumbled, his eyes widening in shock.
How had he not seen this before he got down here?
There was a pile of dead animals- it wasn't large but it was disgusting.
He covered his nose and mouth trying to not smell that horrible smell again.
He was gonna throw up again- the smell was horrible. The scene in general was horrible.
Did Tom do this? Why? Why kill all of these animals.. Does he eat them?
That last thought almost made him throw up.
No I don't think he would eat these- plus they all look like they've been here a while..
He would walk around the bodies, deciding that he didn't want to be here any longer.
After he got around them, he turned and ran.

After a while, he managed to find the path again. He'd glance around,
deciding that he should find Tom now.
No, not find.
Get him to come to me.
"Hey! Big purple piece of shit- Where the fuck are you?" He yelled loudly.
He'd glance around, knowing Tom probably wouldn't have reacted to that.
"I tried to helping you, and in return you put me in the fucking hospital!
When are you gonna stop playing fucking hide and seek? Hm? When're you gonna stop running away from all your problems?"
He continued to yell, though nothing happened.
"What if I call you something- something that might just hurt your feelings, hmm?"
He said, pausing as he swore he heard the sounds of Tom walking- like before.
"May I dare have to say it?" The sound was louder now- confirming that he had gotten Tom's attention.
"You, Thomas Ridgewood," He'd pause as he heard a growl. "Are a monster!"
He turned to face Tom right as he called him a monster. That might've been a mistake.
"Oh, there you are. Finally decided to show up, hm?" He hummed sarcastically.
Tom responded with a louder growl, approaching Tord slowly.
"I thought you were just gonna keep hiding!-" He was cut off by Tom swatting at him.
Tord jumped back but not enough- Tom's claws dug into his flesh, cutting all the way down his lower arm.
"FAEN!" He screamed as pain shot up his arm.
He instinctively grabbed onto his arm, glaring at Tom.
"On second thought- I'm gonna go." He said before turning and running.
Shit, shit, shit, shit! Why'd I have to insult him- I should've just tried to find him. Why'd I have to go and get hurt again-
He continued to run, starting to panic as he heard Tom catching up.
Why had he done this- he might die because of Tom.
He'd continue to run, weaving through the trees and avoiding tree roots. It wasn't easy but he was managing it.
He glanced behind himself, only to see Tom extremely close behind him.
He looked back quickly, trying to run quicker.
He pushed his way through a thick bush, falling to his knees on the other side.
He was at a rocky edge- it looked like a cliff, but with further inspection realizing it probably wouldn't be called a cliff. It was a rocky edge that seemed about 10 feet up in the air.
It went down for about 10 feet, but at the end up that 10 feet there was a slope. It went down the rest of the way.
If he were to fall, he would probably break something. He froze as he heard the rustling from the bush he came through.
Fuck. He's here.
Tord turned, standing back up. He was at the edge of the cliff thing, and if he took about two more steps back, he'd fall.
Tom was at the edge of the bushes, approaching slowly. Then he paused, for about a minute or so. Like last time.
Tord was about to say something when Tom starting..changing shape?..
He got smaller, changing shape rapidly.
Until..he was his human form again.
He was oddly wearing clothes- did he like, absorb them when he went into monster form?..That didn't really matter now- but it was a question to ask later if he survived.
It was actually really nice to see Tom's face again. His true face.
He walked towards Tord slowly, before pausing about a half foot in front of him.
Tom put his hands out in front of himself, locking eyes with Tord.
"Do you trust me." It sounded less like a question and more like a command.
Even though the only thing Tom had tried to do this entire time was kill him, he oddly did trust Tom.
He nodded as he grabbed Tom's hands. "Y-yeah."
Sorrow..pain?..came over his features.
Tom's hands tightened around Tord's.
"Well.." Tom leaned in close, a little too close for comfort. Was he gonna..?
"You shouldn't have." He whispered to Tord, frowning.
"Wha-?" Tord tried to ask, but it was too late.
Tom gave Tord a firm shove, pushing him off the rocky edge.
Tord stared at Tom in shock. He had nothing to say. He was at a loss for words.
Tom leaned over the edge, watching as Tord fell.
The last thing Tord saw before he hit the ground was tears dripping from Tom's cold, empty eyes.
A sickening pop could be heard as Tord hit the ground.
