the song isn't to be played until you're with Emmett in the gazebo,

\Your POV

We had caught up with her rather quickly. Now, all we had to do was connect her DeLorean to ours. We looked at her and Marty rose a brow. "What is she doing?" he asked. "Probably spouting euphemisms at us. Luckily the road out of Hill Valley is pretty rough in 1875" he said. He gave us each a microphone and we were ready to get down to the other DeLorean. "I have a few euphemisms to shout at her." I mumbled as Doc and Marty chuckled. "Down girl, play nice." he said and I looked up at him as he smiled down at me.

"I was waiting for Emmett to yell at Marty when they were on the clocktower. Would have been interesting, since I've never known Doc to lose his cool" Marty looked at me before Doc shook his head. "They day I yell at either one of you is the day that I get back with Edna." he said. "Now we have bigger things to take care of." he said. We nodded and went around the car to the front of it as we attached the Flux Synchronization modules to the front of the car that alternate Doc had put on it earlier. After we got them synced to the receiver on our DeLorean.

Marty got his but mine was proving to be difficult since Edna could see me and she was trying to shake me off. I heard Doc and Marty talking to each other on the headset. I growled and slapped my hand onto the window as she jumped a little before she swerved a little. "She won't let me by!" I said as Marty and I met at the back of the car. We switched placed before I went over to the front to get around and she sped up a little before I ran across the top of the DeLorean, kicking Mr.Fusion in the process.

I groaned a little but noticed that the mirror was out so I could get by Edna. I connected the flux synch to the transmitter and synced it up to our DeLorean. Now, all we had to do was get the one on the top of the car. I sighed a little before Marty used the wiper he had pulled off the DeLorean and closed the Mr. Fusion so it would stop throwing flames everywhere. Edna had rolled her window down and yelled at us. "Get off my car you hooligans!" she yelled.

I chuckled "This car is ours, not yours, you psycho-" I was cut off "Now, (y/n) you can throw profanities at her later" Doc said. Marty laughed on the other end and I sighed gently.  I knocked on the window to get her to let me in before she opened her door, throwing me onto the roof. I yelled a little and Marty looked at me. "You good?" he asked. I nodded. "That wasn't at all what I had in mind!" I said. Marty looked at me and handed me the last Flux Synch we needed to connect to our DeLorean. I got it ready and Edna swerved a little making me lose my balance before I felt Doc's hand grab onto mind. I looked up to see that he had grabbed me before I could fall. He pulled us into the DeLorean and we jumped through time, causing Edna to crash into the side of the hill Valley police station and get arrested. She was thrown into a cell with Kid Tannen.

We watched as she was arrested and I couldn't help but laugh a little. She got what she deserved as I watched her get dragged inside. "You can bunk with me doll" Kid said and she sneered. "I'd rather die!" she said. After they got inside her DeLorean flashed out of existence. "What the hell? Hey Parker! You're not going to believe this!" Kid said as he went to find Danny.

I looked at Doc and Marty. "Wait Doc" Marty said as he turned around and saw Artie and Trixie. We followed as he walked over. "Artie you can't marry her, she isn't the one you're supposed to be with!" he said. Trixie and Artie were confused as ever.

"Artie you can't do this.. you're not supposed to get married for another 5 years!" Artie chuckled gently as he looked at Marty. "Well I know that Trixie and I were taking things slow." he looked to Trixie. "But after that witch Edna got me fired with that little postcard, we had to accelerate things a little." she said.

I looked to Doc who was watching the other three. I looked back over. "I know that marrying a Canadian for a work permit isn't by the book, but sometimes you gotta do crazy things for the ones you love." he said.

"Isn't he the sweetest?" Trixie asked. I smiled a little as I listened to the little family reunion. Marty looked at his hands and he wasn't fading out of existence and I looked to Doc who just shrugs. "Beats me, this is out of my hands" he said and I chuckled gently. "You don't understand you were supposed to marry Sylvia Miskin!" Marty said. Artie sighed gently "But I did marry Sylvia Miskin!" he said and Trixie smiled gently.

"You didn't think my real name was Trixie Trotter, did you?" she asked and Marty looked between the two. "Don't feel too bad, it was a surprise to me too" Arthur said as he looked at his grandson. Willie came out from behind Marty and I looked at the McFly family. "You seemed pretty mad about the marriage back at the high school" Marty said. "that was before I got a good look at her. Besides, my dear old father Seamus used to say: no sense in getting riled up over something I can't do anything about!" he said "And honestly, now that I've met her I can't Imagine a better daughter in law than the charming Miss Sylvie." he said which earned him a kiss on the cheek from Sylvia.

Doc and I walked back over and he chuckled "You know, I took some pictures of Trixie in 1931" he said. Marty looked at him. "That's my grandma you're talking about" he said and I rolled my eyes. "Now boys, can we go home? I'd like some food and to be in my clothes and out of this ridiculous outfit." I said as they looked over to me. "I think you look ravishing" Doc said and Marty chuckled. "You should have seen the eyes that Emmett had when he saw her earlier. I thought he was going to fall off his booth at the expo." Marty said. Doc looked at us and shook his head before we got in the car. He had a light pink dusting on his cheeks.

"Hey (y/n), wait!" I heard and turned around to see Emmett running out of the courthouse. He smiled as he walked over to me. He looked happier than ever. "I wanted to talk to you before you go" he said and I nodded before we went to talk in the gazebo. I leaned on the rail as he looked at the time square. "You know, these last couple months that you pop up out of nowhere and then disappear have gotten me thinking, something that I do a lot." I smiled as I stood closer to him as he rubbed the back of his neck and looked away nervously. "I wanted to give you this." he said as he held out something that he pulled from his pocket. I looked down to see a picture of us that was taken before the expo.

I smiled gently as I held it before I looked up at him. "Thank you, Emmett" I said as he smiled. "I think you should keep this, since neither of us know when we'll meet again." he nodded slowly before he looked at me since he was taller than me. I tilted my head. "What?" I asked. "If you won't take the picture, and neither of us knows when we'll see each other again, at least let me have one last kiss." he said and smiled hopefully. I blushed a little as I looked at him before nodding. He pulled me closer as he put a hand on my waist and pulled me into a kiss before his other hand found my other hip. He held my hands on his chest as I kissed back slowly. We heard a honk from the DeLorean and we broke the kiss before we both blushed deeply.

"I uh.. gotta go Emmett." I said and he frowned but nodded slowly as he squeezed my hand gently. "I'll have to see you in my dreams and in my memory." he said. I nodded as I felt my heart skip a beat. "Now that's a man after my own heart." I said which made him smile. I kissed his cheek again before I got into the DeLorean. Marty and Doc were quiet as we drove off. I saw Emmett wave at me as he stayed on the gazebo. We jumped through time and I sighed deeply as we got to Doc's house.

Emmett's POV

I watched her get into that future car before she left again. I don't know when I would see her again or if I even ever would. But I would still hold onto her memory as she was everything that I could have wanted. She was able to see me for me and believed in my dreams as a scientist. I put my hands in my pockets as I started walking home, I hummed gently.

"Come to me, my melancholy baaby, cuddle up and don't be blue. All your fears are foolish fancy maybe, you know dear that I'm in love with you. Every cloud must have a silver lining, wait until the sun shines through. Smile my honey dear, while I kiss away each tear. Or else I shall be melancholy too."

I leaned on a tree as I looked at the moon that was poking out behind the clouds. I sighed deeply as I closed my eyes. I had lost Edna but she wasn't the same. Since I was sure I had a heart because I think it was breaking.

"Goodbye, (y/n). I may not see you tomorrow or next week, but if my calculations are correct I'll see you soon, and when I do. I'll tell you exactly what you mean to me." I mumbled before I walked home and went to my lab
