I do believe that this may be the longest chapter yet. And I bet you are not expecting what will happen in this chapter. So be warned, you will be surprised.

And by the way, I feel like crap. I was suddenly feeling super sick halfway through typing this up, but I pushed through.

Enjoy(:

Chapter 22

~

Casting nervous glances at one another, we all slowly untangle ourselves and cautiously trail into Simon's conference room, one by one, hand in hand. All of us except Simon take our seats around the table as Simon stands at the head of it with a television stand beside him and an emotionless face epression.

Even after we have been seated, Harry's large hand never leaves mine, allowing me to grip it until my knuckles turn white and my fingernails puncture his skin, but not hard enough to draw blood. My hand shakes in his as I wait for Simon to speak, hating the suspense that is leading up to something undoubtedly dreadful.

Simon's eyes graze over my band mates and me. His project, almost. He put five boys together and now watches how they will respond to certain events thrown at them. Judging by the slight downward pull of his lips, he's not satisfied with the outcome of what's happened.

After another quick scan over us, Simon's hard brown eyes that are usually so kind toward us land on me and stay there. All of my muscles tense instantly as he finally opens his mouth and says, "What is this?" He then clicks a button on the remote I haven't noticed until now that he's holding.

The telly to his left flares to life, showing a stage on which stood a blonde haired girl with a black dress and an evil glint in her ice cold eyes as she holds the microphone before her. "Hello, everyone," she greeted the crowd. "I'm sorry to delay the next band performance, but I have an announcement to make."

Unable to take my eyes off the screen, my mouth falls agape as I watch the worst moment of my life play before me. Harry's thumb glides over the back of my hand, attempting to calm me, but it doesn't work. I have to watch my life and career ripped apart a second time by this witch.

"You all know Louis Tomlinson, yes?" Ella questioned, earning grunts of agreement. "Lovely lad, you would say? Kind to his family, his band mates, his fans, and especially his girlfriend?" Ella gestured to herself and I feel my face grow hot in anger, my grasp on Harry's hand tightening even more.

"Well, there's a lie hidden behind all that. The truth is, he used me. He scammed you all. He's not who you think he is. The fact is that Louis Tomlinson is not the perfect boyfriend he wants you to believe he is. The truth is, Louis Tomlinson is gay." Instantly, I look down at the table in shame.

My eyes travel back up to the screen as Ella continued, "And that's not it. Louis Tomlinson also happens to be in love with Harry-" As soon as Ella's voice had cut you, the person that had been recording the event turned and aimed the camera at me. My face was paler than I've ever seen before, my lips parted and my breathing was fast. My head had slightly been shaking from side to side, my wet hair clinging to my forehead over my blue eyes that were obviously filled with disbelief and pain as they stared up at the scene on the stage.

The camera stayed on me, but Danielle's voice was still clear as the recorder had picked up her remark, "You know what, Ella? I never liked you." There was a sudden sharp sound followed by a collective gasp.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Liam smile a little as he watches the one he loves protect one of his best friends.

On the screen, the camera remained glued to me as I had turned around, manuevering through the crowd as fast as I could.
