(Ae POV)
"So, do you have any concerns Ae?"the family therapist asks.
"Like what kind of concerns?" He smiles.
"Well for starters, why did you leave Pete in the first place?"I sigh and look at Pete.
"I left because it was an opportunity to have a career in music and I took it, without regards to how Pete felt, I ignored his pleas to come back and take care of our children, I hated myself for making such a rash decision, I regret leaving them but at the same time I don't, because now I can take care of my family the way I should have a long time ago" The doctor nods and writes my answer on his notepad.
"And Pete, what did you feel when you saw Ae again after 5 years?" He bites his lip.
"I felt anger, I felt hurt. I was thinking why did he have to come back and ruin everything"
"After hearing that Ae how does that make you feel?"
"Makes me sad because everything he says is true"
"Pete do you still love Ae?" I see him blushing.
"I'll always Ae, no matter what" I smile and grab his hand.
"Do you see yourselves getting back together not just for the sake of the twins but for the both of you as well?" Pete blushes.
"I want to be with Pete and my children, but it's up to them if they want me in their lives." I kiss Pete's hand.
"Okay, well that's enough for today, I will see you guys in three weeks at the same time" we bow and walk out hand in hand. - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Mommy!! Daddy!!" The twins scream running from their grandparents and into our arms.
"Hi babies, did you have fun with grandma and grandpa?"they nod excitedly, and tell Pete about their day.
"Yeah mommy, we colored and help gramma make cookies and we had Mac and Cheese that grandpa made" I smile kissing Jang's cheek.
"So they have been fed and bathed" his mom says smiling but it fades after she sees me.
"Ae" I look away awkwardly.
"Mom? Please don't start" she huffs and crosses her arms.
"Honey, leave Ae alone"
"I don't see why he came back? He doesn't deserve to know the twins"
"Mom! Please he regrets leaving us behind but he's trying his best, can't you give him a chance"
"I'm going to the store" I smile sadly at Pete as his mom walks out of the house.
"I'll talk to her later son, don't worry about it. Ae I'm forgiving you but if you hurt my son ever again, you won't live to be 30" I nod frantically.
"Yes Sir, It won't happen ever again"
"Alright get outta here and drive home safe" we bow and walk to the car.
(At Pete's Apartment)
"Good night my babies" Pete says kissing our children on their foreheads.
We slowly walk out of the room and walk into the living room.
I grab my shoes and jacket "please don't leave" Pete says fidgeting with his fingers.
I smile and slip my shoes and jacket off.
"Ok, what do you want to do?" He blushes and grabs my hand sitting me down on the couch and handing me the remote.
"Pick a movie on Netflix while I get us some snacks" I smile and turn the tv on and pick out the benchwarmers movie.
Pete comes back with popcorn and beer, he hands me a beer and the popcorn and snuggles next to me once he's settled I play the movie. - - - - - - - - - - -
"Ae?" Pete says turning towards me on the bed.
"Yeah"
"I want to start over" I smile widely and pull Pete in for a passionate kiss.
"I would love that, Pete will you be my boyfriend again?" He nods and pulls me into a hug.
I smile and pull him into a hug and fall into a deep sleep. ****************************************************
