(Ae POV)

"S-son? But how?" Chompoo looks at me with guilt and Ae with sympathy.

"I wanted to call you so many times and tell you about Tang, but I got so scared and thought it was best I didn't bother you with the sudden news" I look at the boy and see a slight resemblance.

"Then why are you here?" She bites her lip and looks at Pete.

"Can Tang go play with the twins?" She asks Pete and he nods.

"June, Jang why don't you show your new friend your toys" Pete says smiling.

The twins nod and rush upstairs with Tang.

"I have a good reason why I now showed up, I'm dying Ae and it's spreading fast" I look at Pete for confirmation and he nods.

"Ae she's telling the truth, show him" Pete grabs her hand.

Chompoo smiles sadly and takes off her scarf around her head, I gasp at the sight.

"H-how long do you have?" Chompoo starts to tear up.

"Three weeks" she says tears pouring down her face. "I need you to look after Tang for me while I'm gone, he's going to need you and Pete's support when I pass" Pete squeezes her hand.

"What about your family or friends?" She shakes her head.

"Everyone turned their backs on me when they found out I was pregnant, they got mad that I had sex without being married and they disowned me, your all Tang has" I sigh and nod.

"Okay, we'll take good care of him" she wipes her eyes and pulls me into a hug.

"I Uh, left his things upstairs in the spare bedroom, I will contact you when it's time and I want you to bring him to say goodbye, he knows everything and is accepting the outcome, I swear to you that I am really sick, so please take care of my baby and when I'm gone let him know, I will always love him" she sniffs and grabs her purse and walks out the door for good.

"Poor baby, Ae we need to keep our promise and take care of him like he's one of ours, we are all he has" I nod and pull my boyfriend into my chest kissing his forehead.

"I'm going to go and talk to him, can you start dinner" Pete nods and kisses my cheek.

I run my hand through my hair and walk into the twins room.

"Tang? Can we talk?" Tang looks at me sadly and nods. "Kids go downstairs and help mommy with dinner" they nod and rush downstairs, we walk into Tang's new room.

"Did she leave?" Tang asks sadly.

"Yeah, but we promised that we would take care of you" Tang starts to cry and clings on to my shirt.

"Why does she have to die? She's never done anything wrong?" I sigh and pat his back.

"Sometimes bad things happen to good people, but I know deep down inside that she loves you with all her heart and that she'll always be here" I say pointing to his heart.

He looks up at me sadly "Do you think, she'll be happy up in heaven when she goes?" I smile and nod wiping his tears.

"I know she will, come downstairs and eat" he smiles and wipes his nose.

After tucking the twins and Tang into bed, I walk into Pete and I's room and lay next to my boyfriend.

"How you doing?" Pete asks turning around in my arms.

I rub Pete's back "at first, I thought she was lying to get me back for something but when I looked into her eyes as she was telling us the story , I knew she was telling the truth you could see in her face how pale and thin she was" Pete nods and kisses my lips.

"We'll take care of him the best we can and you will be a wonderful father to him, I just know it in my gut that everything will turn out fine in the end.

I smile and kiss his nose "how did I get so lucky to have you in my life?" Pete shrugs and pulls me down for a kiss.

"I ask myself that question all the time" he says giggling.

"On a happier note, I'm no longer a musician." Pete's eyes widen.

"What?" I smile.

"I know work for P'Type as one of his music recruits, I help him find new talent" Pete smiles widely.

"That's great news baby" Pete kisses me once more.

"I know, now let's sleep. I love you"

"Love you too"

I snuggled up to my boyfriend and close my eyes.

Everything happens for a reason, and it will spread like wildfire.
