(Ae POV) *1 month later* -Chompoo Funeral 12 pm-

"Come on guys, let's head inside" Pete says to our children.

I grab Jang's hand while Pete takes June and Tang's hands and we walk into the church.

We take a seat in the front row of the pew and sit down.

"Mom?" I hear Tang ask, Pete.

"Yeah baby?"

"Do you think, she will be happy in heaven?"Pete smiles and pulls him into his body.

"I'm sure that god will take very good care of her" After that Tang lays his head on Pete's shoulder and the service starts once everyone sits down.

"Today we are all gathered together to lay to rest Chompoo Singh, she was a kind, beautiful woman, mother and daughter. She put others before herself and took care of her son Tang, Today should not be a day of sadness, but a day of comfort and love, If anybody would like to come up and say something please do so now" the priest asks, a woman stands up and walks to the podium.

"Hello everyone, I'm Lucy Singh and I'm Chompoo's mother." she lets a few tears fall. "Before she passed, I was never a good mother to her, after her father and I disowned her for having a child before marriage and after my ex husband and I fought, I felt so horrible. I felt like a burden for making my only child run away and hide and I regret that everyday. I hope that with her gone, I can finally put myself at ease knowing she's going to be taken care of and as for you Tang, I'm so sorry honey, grandma hopes that one day you can forgive me" she wipes her tears and sits back down.

After a few more people Tang gets up and says "I am really going to miss my mother and I hope that god takes care of her and makes her happy, I am so grateful to Ae and Pete for taking me in and making me feel loved, I want to thank you grandma and say I forgive you" Lucy runs to Tang and pulls him into a tight embrace.

"Pft.. two fags taking care of three children? What has this world come to?" A bitchy old voice says.

I turn around and glare "excuse me?" The lady scoffs.

"You heard me, two faggots shouldn't raise three children" Pete turns around swiftly and stands up, everyone listens.

"Listen here you old hag, I don't take kindly to people calling me and my boyfriend names and I definitely won't allow you to talk about anybody that way, this is a damn funeral for someone people have lost, if you want to sit there and be a judgmental, ignorant bitch then you can leave, no one asked for you opinion, I have never wanted to hit an old woman in my entire life, but today might be that day, you think your such a holy person but your a mean, vile and hateful person and I won't sit there and take it, now sit down, shut up and don't make me hit you in God's house" the lady scoffs and grabs her things, stomping away.

Everyone starts to clap and sits back down.

"Let's sing a few hymnals" everyone grabs their book and we start singing.

*At The House*

"I want to thank you gentlemen for taking care of my grandson, I know you can take care of him better then I ever could" Ms. Singh says smiling sadly.

"Your welcome ma'am" she smiles, kisses Tang's cheek and walks off.

Clink, Clink

"Everyone raise your glass, I want to make this speech for Chompoo, May she Rest In Peace, I want to also thank Ae and Pete for taking the time to help with the funeral and for the food and being amazing hosts" Lucy says smiling and takes a sip of her wine.

At five pm everyone starts to leave, after people are gone Pete and I start to clean up while the kids play outside in the backyard.

"So, the real estate lady wants us to come by tomorrow and look at the house while the kids are in school" Pete says throwing paper plates and cups away.

"Okay, we can do that. You go back to work in two weeks right?" Pete nods and puts the bottles of wine in the fridge.

"Okay cause Friday we are going to my parents cabin this weekend and staying for a week."

"Ohh sounds fun, kids will love it"

"I also invited a few people and you can also invite some too if you want" Pete smiles and kisses my cheek.

"I'm going to start dinner" I smile and go hangout with the kids.
