'New Year, New Us'

chapter 2

The bus comes to a slow stop. You look out of the window at your highschool with a worried look. "Y/N it'll be okay, I'm right here." he says, knowing how shy you are. You both get off the bus and walk in with the rest of the crowd.

Jacob and you have the same homeroom, so you walked around the confusing, crowded hallways trying to find your class together. You began to go the wrong way so Jacob grabbed your hand and swung you around and your faces got close. You weren't sure what to do, so you just kinda stood there for a minute. He then looked right in your eyes, and then said awkwardly, "You went the wrong way." You laughed. You guys then began walking towards your class again. You finally approached it. Jacob glanced around the room to see if anyone else you guys knew was in that homeroom. He screeched "SHAWN" excitedly. You look towards Shawn's direction, he had 2 empty seats right beside him. ( shawn is one of you and Jacob's closest friends. )

You and Jacob approach the seats next to Shawn. You both sit down, soon after all three of you began talking about your summers. Shawn starts talking about his 'summertime adventures to Space Camp,' which no one really cared about, but we still listened. Then, Jacob begins to talk. He starts talking about how he had succeeded in his singing career. You love when Jacob talks about his singing, because he's just so passionate. As Jacob talks you find yourself just starring at his eyes. He had the prettiest brown eyes you'd ever seen. He then stopped talking, but you were clueless because you had been lost in his eyes for around 5 minutes.. Shawn and Jacob then began stare at you waiting for you to talk about your summer. You realize Jacob stopped talking and your cheeks got bloodshot red. You then began talking about how your summer went. You started saying what you did, scuba diving, snorkeling, and traveling to the Bahamas. Jacob and Shawn exclaimed, "That's awesome Y/N!!"
