The intercom then came on with a piercing noise. "All students please pause for a moment of silence." Jacob, Shawn, and you then were completely silent. As soon as that was over three ear drum busting bells rang, which meant it was time for your first class. You were extremely nervous and Jacob could see it in your eyes. He said, "everything will be okay, Y/N, I promise I won't let anything happen to you." You blushed. Then you exited homeroom not knowing if you had any classes with Jacob, or Shawn.

You found your class, and entered the room. You then scanned around the room to see if you knew anyone. Then you saw an old friend, Stacy. She politely waved. You were surprised she still remembered you. You and Stacy sat together. The bell rang which meant class was officially in session. The teacher, Mr.Hogins, then began to talk about integers and dividing fractions, which you honestly could care less about. You zoned out and started daydreaming.. about Jacob. You thought about how usually you and him are just friends but this year, it seems different, like things were actually serious. You had always kept a secret from everyone about how much you liked him. You were sure he liked you back, but you didn't want to ask. Unexpectedly the piercing bells rung, class was over. 'Already?' you thought. 'Oh well.'

You walked out of your class, catching up with Stacy at the same time. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Jacob. It had seemed as though everything around him stopped moving, it was just him. He glanced at you at winked. Your cheeks turned red. Meanwhile, Stacy was still blabbing on and on about how rich she is, as always. Stacy has always been that snobby, rich white kid in school. And to be honest, you never really liked her, your moms were friends. You then departed with Stacy and found your 2nd period class. You saw Jacob and got way too excited. He saw you then smiled from ear to ear. There was a kid next to him on both sides, which made you upset. As you were walking past his desk, he made the kid move so you two could sit together. Jacob had always been a gentlemen.

This class was social studies, which bored you to death. The teacher, Mrs.Rodgers started talking about wars. You and Jacob were just talking like there was no tomorrow. The teacher then made you move to across the room. Great, the first day and I'm already in trouble. Jacob and you were now a couple rows away from each other. You guys continued to make silly faces at each other during class, not paying attention to anything around you. Very soon the bell rung to go to lunch. You started to walk out of the room, then Jacob tapped your shoulder. You turned around wondering why he did that, "Are you not even gonna talk to me?" he said joking around. You said, "Sorry, I don't talk to troublemakers." You and Jacob constantly joked around to each other, and your friends often take it as flirting.
