Jacob and you made your way to your last class, science. Jacob hated science. But this was the shortest class of the day, so that was okay. You guys had assigned seats in this class, which was upsetting. Jacob and you had seats way far out from each other. Although in this class the teacher allowed you to do some research on our phones, so of course you and Jacob automatically go your phones out.

You were going to Google to see where the 'cell membrane' was. Then you saw that you had over 5 messages from Jacob... You quickly looked at them. It said they were from this morning right when you got to school. They were all about how Jacob was confessing how much he had loved you.

"Listen, Y/N, I know we've been friends for as long as I remember, and I don't want to ruin that.. but I really wish we were more. You mean so much to me and I can't get over you. I needed to tell you soon so, I like you.. a lot. I hope this doesn't change anything. Love ya❤️"

You look up frantically at Jacob, he's doing his work. You didn't know how to respond, what to say, what to do. You never knew he felt that way.

The bell rings 3 piercing rings meaning that this school was officially over. You bolted out of the room trying to avoid talking to Jacob until you figured out what you were gonna say, or react. You here his voice yelling, " Y/N WAIT UP!" So eventually you felt rude and stopped.

Jacob took your shoulder and turned you around, "What's wrong with you?" Everything, you thought. "Nothing, I just don't feel good."

He could always tell when you were lying, you couldn't get anything past him. "Is it because of those messages? I knew it'd ruin everything. Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say anything but I felt like I needed to.." he says.

"No! It's fine." You say, "I've felt the same way."
