I take Ty to my room because he would be sleeping there while I sleep on the couch. Mitch and Jerome would share a room.
"So this is it."

I leave the room to go to Jerome's room and before I knock I hear two voices gossiping.
"When I was on the phone with Ty he told me about Mari and how he has liked her for some time."

I knock

I walk in.
"Hey Jerome just wanted to check if you two needed anything." I say then I bite my lower lip. Then I saw Mitch comb through his hair with his hand and exhale.
"Nah it's your birthday weekend and you don't need to be working."
"Alright. Night Jerome and thank you." I gave him the friendly kiss on the cheek I always gave him before we went to bed.
"Woahhh. Jerome you have a girlfriend!"
"It's friendly you idiot!" I say to Mitch

"Good night Awesome sauce films. "
There jaws drop probably because I knew about it.
I walk downstairs to the kitchen and find Ty on the phone in there.
Should I back up or should I listen? What kinda question is that!? Don't snoop and listen in!
"Oh hey Mari."
"Uh hi Ty"
"I got you a gift."
I bite my lip "Oh thanks that's sweet but unnecessary. "
"Nah it's good and how could I not get you a gift?
He hands me the box. I begin to slowly unwrap it because it drives people crazy! I look up and he's biting his lip while checking me out. Maybe I shouldn't have changed into a fitted crop top and booty shorts. I changed into them before they came over because I didn't want to have to bother Ty by getting pajamas. I open it all the way and he got me the perfect gift.
