Mrs Parker closed her eyes for a moment and replied with a sigh, "I knew you would ask me once why I named you Aurora. And I've tried to explain before but I just couldn't. I wasn't strong enough. But I'm not going to keep you away from this anymore.
"I used to work as a waitress before. And every time rich people used to come there. Once I met someone named Joey. He told me he was not a bigshot. Just a middle class man who loved to study about the space and the earth. He would come to the cafeteria once a week to talk about the space and the earth. He told he had no one to share those things with. Then he started coming everyday. First he started inviting me to silent lunches and then to romantic dinners. I liked listening to those space talks and earthly matters. He said he felt so comfortable with me that he told me about everything: the stars, constellations, galaxy. But the one he liked the most was aurora. An aurora is that long magical wave of light that is about 100m thick. It can be mostly seen at the poles. I learned all these from him.""During thanksgiving he invited me over to his house, where he asked me to marry him. He said, 'We could look at the sky every night, give each star a name. We could see the auroras. For real. And we could even name our child Aurora.' Well, there was no denying such a great offer. So I said 'yes'. And that is how I became Mrs Parker. Then I got pregnant with you.
"When it was time for delivery I was rushed to the hospital by One of the neighbours. Joey was out in some lab doing his work. He was trying to make a small universe model. Our neighbour called him, telling him about the delivery. She told me he was so excited that he shouted, 'Aurora is about to appear in our home!' He even came to the hospital at such great speed that... that it caused an accident. "
By now tears were streaming down her cheeks.
Aurora had been listening to her so quietly. "So this is why you named me Aurora?"
His mother nodded, "I am so sorry this name caused you a lot of problem. "
Aurora shook his head. "I'm sorry I hugged your parenting skills. "
