Your Lie in April, Moving On.... Part 1

Prologue

A few weeks had passed since Kaori's death and everyone seemed to move on just fine. Kousei won the competition and got into the high school that he was aiming for, Tsubaki and Watari also got into their respective high schools and everything seemed fine....or did it.

One fine day, Kousei was walking home like usual, when he passed by the park where he 1st met Kaori, the day his life changed forever. He stood there for a bit, reminiscing about their times together, when tears started rolling down his cheeks.

After that, he decided to stop by at her parents' bakery. "Yo Kousei!" Her dad was extremely surprised at Kousei's appearance. "Hi" Kousei replied quietly. He had a chat with them for a bit, and left with a chocolate cake that he would save for later. As he stepped out, a woman cloaked in red scrambled across the streets, bumping into him and making him drop his cake. "SORRY!!" she said, and zoomed away. "Wait..she sounded familiar..." he thought.

As he arrived home, he kept on thinking about her voice. How did it seem so familiar, yet so strangely unfamiliar.

Then he realised. That voice. It belonged to........Kaori. "It couldn't be. It's not possible" he whispered in his quiet room, crying tears of joy.....
