Day after explosion: 4

When Sam woke, she was in great pain. Her eyelids weakly opened up, and she let out a loud groan, but she cut herself short with a wince of pain. Sam's throat felt like it was on fire, and making any noise felt like burning agony. Her once amber eyes, now a dull red, weakly looked around the area. It was dirty, the sky was grey and the grass was now dead. Sam took a slow, deep breath in even though it felt so painful. But the five year old just beared with it. She was so young and fragile, not knowing at all what happened. She slowly brought her hands up from her stomach, and to her shoulders and they slowly pushed down onto the now dead grass of the kindergarten yard, and slowly and weakly she pushed herself up. Sam looked down at her arms and noticed that her once bright and clear skin was grey, and covered in bruises, cuts, and burn marks. She let out a wimper, but it hurt badly.  Sam took a deep, painful breath and forced herself to sit up and get on her feet. Sam was in bad pain by the time it happened, her muscles felt weak. She tried to stand, but her legs felt like jelly. She fell, but luckily hit the tree and not the ground. Sam held onto the tree branch, even thoughher hands felt terrible and weak. Sam gave a huff. She gave a shove of the tree and finally stood by herself. The only thing in her mind right now, was how long she was out, and what happened. The poor girl was clueless.
