For some reason, your idiotic hand won't move. You already made it clear to yourself that you are going to cut the string so why, why won't your right hand bear to take that pair of scissors and cut this sinister red string up?
You slump down onto your bed, giving up on your attempts to cut the string for the day. You question yourself on why you are unable to do such a trivial task but deep down, you know why.
You still feel bad for lying to Bakugou and for tailing him. From his standpoint, he probably had expected a villian to be ambushing him and waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack him. He was most likely on high alert since villian activity has been increasing lately.
In a way, your heart doesn't want you to cut the string because you feel bad and indebted to Bakugou. First you caused a shitstorm load of problems for him and yet he still helps you out when you have fallen ill. For him to hate you, it is almost natural.
Your eyes direct themselves towards your desk, where you have placed Bakugou's blazer which you have already washed, dried and folded nicely. To think you even went to the extent of washing his blazer and packing it neatly, you seriously did not know how exactly you felt about this guy.
He's short-tempered and crude with words. He's mean to you and hates you. His personality is totally not your type, although his face undeniably is. Yet, you cannot help but still want to treat him nicely. Is it because you have seen that side of him which is kind and caring despite how much he tries to cover it up behind his angry expressions? You do wonder that yourself.

"Chocolates?" You raise an eyebrow, tilting your head sideways as you tap your chopsticks against your lips.
"You heard me right," your best friend, Fukuyama Hitomi smiles brightly with a nod. "Valentine's Day is coming up. Are you going to make any?"
You get one of the pieces of cocktail sausages you have in your lunchbox and place it in your mouth, chewing and swallowing it before you reply Hitomi with a curt nod. "I am going to make some, like usual."
"Not that," Hitomi dismisses you with a wave of her hand. "Those are obligatory chocolates! I am referring to the other kind."
Honmei-choco, that is what she's referring to, chocolates which a female gives to her love interest.
"No one comes to mind yet..." You trail off as a face pops up in mind, causing your body temperature to skyrocket. Hitomi's lips curve into an amused smirk, noticing that your cheeks are flushing red right away.
"You face does not match your words," she chuckles. "So, who's the lucky guy?"
"There isn't one!" You snap, looking away as you chew away at your lunch grumpily.
Hitomi props her hand against her chin, a laugh escaping her lips. "In denial I see... Alright, I won't question further," she widens her smirk into a mischievous grin. "My, my, you're all grown up now, aren't you?"
"I already said that there's no such person," you insist, though you could still feel your cheeks burning. "I am giving obligatory chocolates only and if you continue teasing me, there will be none for you."
You hit the mark by saying that last sentence. For a sweets lover such as herself, Hitomi would never forgive you if you did not give her chocolates on Valentine's Day. Her smirk disappears as she grasps onto your hand suddenly, staring up at you with watering puppy eyes. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry so please give me chocolates on V Day!"
