I rushed around the enormous glass room and trying to find something that could cure poison, but it was difficult to see where I was going through the thick green haze.

"This is hopeless." Joel's voice echoed from somewhere in the room, I couldn't tell his exact position because the sound reverberated everywhere.

I sighed, it was hopeless. I looked up at the glass ceiling and admired the work that Kira had done in my absence.

I wonder when and how she got here? I asked myself.

"Harley, hurry up!" Joel shouted.

"I can't find anything!" I yelled back, "there's nothing here."

"Who's there?" Asked a soft female voice from behind me.

I immediately knew who it was so I turned around and gave my sister a massive hug.

"Hey sis." I muttered into her shoulder. "Long time no see."

Once she realised who I was, Kira smiled and hugged me back. Her auburn gold hair fluttered in my face whenever I breathed out through my nose.

She took a few steps back and I half-gasped. I had expected her to look the same as the last time we'd talked, but something about her just seemed stronger. Her blue eyes, freckles, rosy cheeks and gold hair were all still the same, but her muscles were a little more defined and she was slightly taller. I would've bet money that she had been training hard in our absence.

" I missed you." she said. "How long have you been away? Where are the others? Are you ok?"

The questions came spilling out of her mouth. I told her that I would explain everything once Tristan was cured.

Kira looked around, realised that she too couldn't see anything and spun around. "Be right back."

A few seconds later came the sound of a lever being pulled and a whirring noise. Then, slowly, the purple fog faded and Kira reappeared.

"There." She said. "Now, where's your friend?"

Joel and Tristan were on the other side of the room. Tristan groaned and attempted to stand up with Joel's help but all he could manage was sitting up. Kira walked over to them and I followed.

"Don't worry." She said. "That mist was only meant to weaken, not kill, you'll be fine after a bit of rest but to speed the process, have this."

Kira gave Tristan a tiny vile no longer than 5 centimetres containing a light purple coloured liquid. He took it in one gulp and munched happily on the glass. Kira didn't seem to be bothered that Tristan just happened to be eating glass, I guess she knew she'd seen weirder before, like generating battle axes (don't ask). The only thing Kira seemed to be worried about were the police lights.

"Nice costume by the way." Joel commented.

I suddenly realised that Kira's costume had indeed changed. She still wore a pair of dark green combat boots with matching gloves but the rest was different. She had a new light green leotard with vine patterns snaking around her chest and arms and a pair of purple tights underneath. She had also wrapped had her classic vine whip  around her left shoulder and down to her right waist in a diagonal loop across her chest. For affect, two pink flowers were tucked behind her ears, something I strangely didn't notice when we hugged.

After Tristan managed to get to his feet, Kira turned and walked away toward a corner of the greenhouse where the green light seemed to be emanating from. I told Joel to stay with Tristan and went over to Kira. She was grinding herbs and leaves and mixing them with different coloured liquids.

"Watcha doin?" I asked.

She jumped a little in surprise and lifted up her gloved palm. In it was a purple dust that smelled like perfume and made me dizzy.

"I've been busy, Harley." She said, looking proudly at her work. "This is my new poison powder, it's even more powerful than the last one. I've even got other powders too, like a sleeping one and the weakening one that I used to protect myself from the police."

I nodded, taking it all in, but I had so many questions that I couldn't keep contained. "How long have you been here?"

Kira thought for a moment and answered. "A couple of weeks. Took about a day to clear the place out, but the people who worked here were strangely susceptible to plant poisoning."

"What about Wills and Ella? Where are they?" I asked.

She shrugged. "They're still at the bush for all I know. I ran away the day after you did. Unfortunately, all I know is that Wills is planing on recruiting members for the crime lords from his parents' company. Getting back to why we ran in the first place, where did you go? Where's Raven?"

I recounted everything to her. The hotel, the costumes, meeting Biowolf (and yes, I explained the 'wolf' part too), and I told her that I still didn't know exactly where Estella was, only that she went to investigate her dad's lab for something. "And we now have two days to get back to Wyong and meet up with the others." I finished.

Kira poured the herbs and chemicals into a beaker and it turned blue and bubbled. "We should get out of here, that stuff is gonna start to gas in about an hour. How did you get in?"

I pointed back at Joel and Tristan, who were both looking outside at the police lights with worried expressions. "There's a sewer entrance over there, we got in through that."

Kira made a disgusted look. "There is no way I'm going in there, I have a better way. We'll go out the way that I came in."

Kira and I went back to Joel and Tristan and Kira gave them a checkup like a you would get at a doctors appointment. She rubbed a white cream on Tristan's claw marks that he got on his face and she dabbed some on Joel's thigh scar which had healed to a small red and purple gash.

"Looks like we're all set." She said. "Let's go."

She went back to her workbench and took a few pouches from a shelf above the beaker.

"My extra powders." She said, showing me the contents: a white powder, the purple poisonous powder and a green powder that I assumed was for healing.

She tied all three of them to a thin green belt and put it around her waist.

"You three all set?" She asked.

All three of us nodded. Tristan stood up without shaking and he and Joel jogged over to us. Kira led us to a back door that was concealed behind a large shrub and we all exited the glasshouse into the night air.

The sun was starting to rise which wasn't good for our cover. We navigated through a few streets, avoiding police officers and cars, before starting to jog back towards Wyong.

"Where exactly is the place we're going?" Kira asked after a minute or two of running.

"A safe house." I replied. "But first, Joel and I left our bags back at the hotel. They have important stuff in them so we should probably go back."

Kira nodded but still looked confused. "What about Tristan? Doesn't he have anything that he needs to get?" She asked.

I laughed. "Of course not."

"How come? Doesn't he need food or weapons or anything?"

"He's a wolf. He eats meat and as for weapons... he's a wolf?"
