The next morning as the group awoke, they could no longer hear the Cranks "I think that they are gone, we can move on now" Sara said and the group walked out of the mall.
When they came out, they saw that the whole city was covered with sand and buildings were broken.

They went through the ruins. "What happened here?" Mike asked, "I don't know, but no one has been here in a long time" Newt said while looking around.
Time skip...
The group found a hill and went up on it, to get a better overview, it was difficult to get up because of the wind and the sand.
When they were up on the hill, they saw the mountains, they were still far away. "That's where we are going" Thomas said as he pointed at the mountains.
Suddenly Winston passed out and rolled down the hill "WINSTON" Mike said, and they rushed over to him, Winston's lips were getting blue and he was pale "Winston, you're okay" Minho asked, but Winston didn't answer, the others did not want to leave him behind, so they made a kind of sled and pulled him through the sand.
Time skip...
After a couples of hours, they found some ruins and stopped for a rest. Minho and Newt sat next to each other and Minho gave Newt a bottle of water "Thanks" Newt said and took the bottle.

Sara sat next to Aris "Are you not hungry?" she asked and Aris looked at her "I was so busy finding other stuff I could use, that I forgot to looked after food, I eat my last snicker last time we stop for rest" Aris said. Sara looked down, it had been hours since last time they stopped for rest, and she knew that it will hours maybe a day before the next rest. She put her bag on the sand and looked in it, she saw that she only have one snicker left, but she took it up and handed it to Aris "Here take mine" she said with a smile "Are you sure? You not hungry?" he asked "No, and I think I will survive, and by the way I have try worse than almost starve to death" she said, Aris smiled and took the snicker.
