The screams sounded urgent, and they were not the 'enjoying the party' kind of screams. Patch rounded the corner to the main hall. Spear in claw he snapped his head left to right, registering the situation.

Several other guards had also came to the situation, every single tribe was here, and prejudice was still dangerously high. A SeaWing guard was glaring at Patch from his right, and a SkyWing was watch that SeaWing vigilantly.

Patch noticed the real problem right away. Queen Coral, who was the queen of the SeaWings, had a NightWing assistant of Queen Glory's in her claws. Her other claws looked poised to rip out his eyes.

Queen Glory was already on the scene and diffusing the situation. From what Patch gathered, the NightWing might have said something offensive. It was known the NightWings were currently under Queen Glory's rule, though the details of how that had happened had yet to be released. Apparently, Starflight, one of the Dragonets of Destiny, was writing a scroll to explain something important about the whole ordeal.

The way he saw it, this didn't exactly concern him. He put his spear away. This was an insane queen taking her anger out on a helpless servant.

Queen Thorn stepped in and helped Glory convince Coral that a new era of peace was on their steps. Killing or maiming a servant was not a good way to show good will. Coral finally released him and the NightWing promptly bowed so low he was almost the floor, apologizing deeply.

The rest of the night went well, the queens talked at length about the two new queens and how hopefully peace could be ever lasting. Patch was responsible for watching over Thorn right now. Alongside one of her Outclaws, who Patch discovered was named Quibli. He was annoying and wouldn't stop talking. They stood about four wing lengths away from the queenly congregation, but they were within quick reach to respond.

"Well if you don't talk much, what do you usually do in your spare time?" Quibli continued to try and make conversation. To which Patch continued to simply give simple quick answers to.

"Train, get better."

"Wow, do you do anything else other than boring stuff."

"I don't believe growing strong is a waste if it means protecting my Queen and Kingdom." He said in a stone voice, glaring sideways at the ex-Outclaw.

Quibli narrowed his eyes at Patch, and looked like he was trying to figure him out, almost like he didn't trust him. To which Patch didn't care, but at the same time he didn't like being analyzed. At least not by someone who was suppose to be an ally.

"If your done ridiculing me, I'd like to focus on watching the crowd."

Later that night, the party had calmed down and everyone had turned in for the night. Each of the Queens were given their own rooms, while each of the guards received their own room to share. The guards of course were taking shifts to watch over the rooms of their queens. Even though, the SkyWings were maintaining a full guard detail for the palace grounds. Patch was responsible on the first shift. Standing guard alongside him was Sandstorm, and Dustdevil. They stood guard in front of Queen Thorn's room.

Patch was making rounds down the halls. He did his best to slightly show off, while being vigil. He kept his posture straight, he kept his steps in rhythm, and most importantly, he made sure he wasn't distracted.

Queen Glacier's room was next to Thorn's. There were four IceWings standing guard, they almost looked like statues.

Patch nodded to them momentarily before pivoting about face and resuming his patrol down to the other end of the hall.
