The Only Exception

"I don't know about this" I said, while my best friend was fiddling with the lock in front of us. "Oh come on, it'll be so much fun!" he said, and we heard a loud click. 
The big gate opened and he entered immediately, but I was doubtful. "Isn't this super dangerous?" I said, and he turned around to face me. He just laughed and took my hand, making me blush slightly. "I promise you we'll be fine" I took a deep breathe in and followed my friend, not letting go of his hand

"Look Teddy!" He's been calling me teddy for as long as I can remember. It's a nickname he'll never let go of, and I've just learned to accept it. "Hmm?" I hummed in response. I follow his gaze and noticed that he's looking at the giant ferris wheel that's in front of us. Suddenly he looks at me. "Let's climb it" he says, with a excited, but mischievous smile. 

He dragged me with him towards the entrance of the giant wheel, and hopped over the fence. As I was about to jump over it, he picked me up instead and placed me on the other side of the fence. "Come on" he said, breaking eye contact, and started climbing the ladder inside the ferris wheel. As we started climbing, I got more and more anxiety. What if we fell? There's no one around to help us, if we even survive the fall. I shook my head, trying to get rid of the thought and kept climbing. We were now on a little platform, and the ladders didn't go any higher. Right in front of us was a cart we could easily reach, and my friend jumped inside of it, taking a seat. I hopped in next to him, as we just sat there in silence, looking at the beautiful night sky above us. 

He placed his arm on my shoulder, and brought me in closer to him. I didn't mind. We just sat there in silence for a while, before he broke it. "Hey, (y/n)?" He said, and his beautiful eyes looked at my (e/c) ones. "Yeah?" It was silent for a second again, with us just staring at each other. He's so pretty. I knew I had a crush on him, I've had it for so long now. He still didn't know, and I'm glad. Every time I blush I'm scared he finds out, but I'm still in the clear.

"I'm just really happy that I have you by my side" My heart melted hearing those words, and I moved even closer than we already were, and rested my head on his shoulder. "Me too" I said, as we continued watching the stars.

I suddenly woke up to the sounds of gunshots. I freaked out, looking around my room for protection, but the only thing I could protect myself with was my pillow and blanket. I ran to the door, trying not to focus on the screams and shots going on, and tried to open it. Locked. Of course. I looked out the window, but the only thing I could see from out there was the sky. It was still dark outside, but the sky was slightly lit up a tiny bit. What do I do now? Suddenly I hear a loud bonk near my door, and as soon as I turned around I saw it was Raccoon. He didn't say anything, but just grabbed my wrist forcefully dragging me with him. "There she is!" I hear someone yell, and I looked over to see the pig mask pointing at me. Wait, Piggy? But he's from that other gang? I thought I escaped from them, what are they doing here? I heard gunshots firing again and I screamed, but raccoon just continued to drag me towards the back door, while running. Fitz and inotorious were close behind him, firing at the intruders that are trying to get to me. Raccoon opened the door only to see the owl on the other side with it, together with hockey mask. Raccoon immediately tried to attack the owl, but he blocked it expecting it. the hockey mask man then suddenly picked me up since raccoon was fighting the owl, and fitz and inotorious were too busy trying to fire at the others behind us. 

The man was running with me in his arms, bridal style, and I was still confused about what the fuck was happening. He arrived at the street and a car came racing towards us, stopping abruptly and he shoved me in the back seat as he got in the front one, and we drove off as soon as that had happened. I looked besides me and saw the guy who was chasing me last time sitting besides me, watching me closely, and I saw the guy who patched me up last time was the one driving the car. I sighed and just stared out of the window, while the two in the front seat were fighting over the music. What do these two gangs want from me?
