"Okay, so he's tall, defiantly muscular, like you can see his muscles if he's wearing a tight shirt, and he is so handsome! Like you need to see him to know! And his eyes oh his eyes, how beautiful they are. a You just can't ever get tired of looking at them. I've never even really liked anyone that way before, but there's just something about him that makes me so happy, so... there aren't even words for it! You know?" I told Grace.

"Okay, um, yeah, sure. By the way, that thing you're feeling, that's called being in love. But, I can tell this is all very new to you. It's actually amusing how you're acting Kelsey. You sound like and idiot, though. Have you talked to Brooklyn lately?" Grace asked.

"Er, no. I keep on forgetting to call her, honestly."

I could hear her dramatic sigh on the other end which made me chuckle as bit. Then it came to me that I was supposed to call her yesterday to make sure that she hadn't done anything stupid. She sometimes reminded me of a silly eight year old who couldn't stop running around. Then at other times she'd be bored, and a bored teenager is a dangerous teenager. Which is actually true, don't ask it'll kill my vibe.

"We need to check up on her right now! What if she wants to go throwing toilet paper at house? Or trying to bake? Or even worse!" She said.

"Fine! You go check on her, I'm busy today. Oh, wait a second. Isn't our sleepover tonight?"

"What do you think Sherlock?"

"Whatever, I've gotta go, I'm , uh-"

"Just text him already! Get on with it, Kelsey."

We both said our goodbyes and hung up. Some conversation that was. Jesus Christ!

"Kelsey? Did you pack your things to go over story Brooklyn's house?" Asked my mom from outside my wooden bedroom door.

"Er, almost!" I called out. In reality I wasn't. I haven't even started packing. I was listening to my favorite artist, Naliah Wright. She has a good mix of different kinds of songs. Some had more adrenaline than others. My favorite song by her was "Here Comes Heartbreak". It was one of her softer songs.

"You need to be ready in five minutes! She wanted you specifically to be there early. Something about not calling or texting her yesterday."

"Mom! Cool it I get it, just, like, go away!" That's when I heard the footsteps move further and further away from the area and down the steps, signaling her absence.
