Galinda's POV
" SO. . . " I BEGAN, BOUNCING ON MY pink bed as I hit my feet on the sides of the bed while Elphaba sat on her black bed, a pillow in her arms, covering her chest. " What are you wearing for the party?"
" I don't think I'm going. . ." Elphaba said, her voice trailing off.
" Shut up! You are going!" I said, standing with my hands on my hips.
" I don't know. . . parties just aren't my. . . thing." Elphaba muttered.
" Ahh, come on. We still have a little time left to go buy something for you off campus." I pleaded, and I could see Elphaba considering my offer.
" Na, I'll stay here." Elphaba said, lying back on her bed.
I grunted in frustration and grabbed her wrist, quickly pulling her up. " We're going shopping." I demanded, and handed her her coat before pulling her out of the dorm and walking down the hallways with her, hand in hand.
It was raining, and when we got to the door, Elphaba stopped. " I don't wanna go."
" Scared of the rain?" I tease and keep on pulling her out.
" Galinda, stop!" Elphaba says, but I ignore her." Stop!" she yells when we get outside, and I could see her skin getting red as the raindrips fell on her.
" Okay, in the name of Oz, calm down!" I whisper and follow her as she stomps back inside the building.
" I can't be in the rain." Elphaba says, trying to dry herself off before the red spots became bigger.
I knitted my eyebrows together in confusion." What? Who can't be in the rain?"
" Me! Look, don't you see! Water hurts me." Elphaba said, holding her arm out and letting me get a closer look at the spots on her skin that looked like they seriously burned.
" That is so weird." I say, thinking about how that would be possible." How do you take a bath?"
" Oils."
" That's why you smell so good. I knew no one could naturally smell that good."
Elphaba giggles and I smile, looking up to lock eyes with her. Her smile is suddenly wiped off of her face." You can't tell anyone."
" I won't, I swear." I promised and held out my pinkie. She hooked her pinkie on mine and we both laughed at our childish behavior.
I pouted, remembering that we couldn't shop anymore." So no shopping?"
" No, sorry." Elphaba said, trying to hide her smirk.
" It's okay, I'll go by myself now. Are you okay? I'm sorry you got hurt because of me." I apologized.
" It's okay, you didn't know." Elphaba smiled. " You don't have to go shopping for me; I don't wanna go. I have to treat my burns."
I suck on my teeth, and she smirked evilly. Suddenly she ran down the hallway, and stopped at the stairway door. " Goodnight, Galinda. Perhaps I'll still be up when you come back."
" Perhaps."

" Elphaba! Wake up! We're gonna be late for class!" I yelled.
" What?" Elphaba asked, sitting up in her bed that I was bouncing on. She looked at her clock." Galinda, for Goodness's sake, it's one thirty in the morning."
I giggle and walk backwards until my legs hit my bed, where I threw myself onto. I lied there on my bed and giggled to myself, remembering all the fun I had at the OzDust Ballroom, and just about how drunk I got. I glanced over at Elphaba who was staring at me with curiosity in her eyes.
