Oh goodness. What am I gonna do?

"Seems like your girlfriend is already here."

Jake smirked and gave me a wink.

"Leon, honey! Cody and Falice are already here! Open them up!"

"I'm coming!" I replied, me, rushing to the door.

"Hey man! what's u- "

Cody was cut off when I pushed both of them outside before they enter.

"What the hell? What is that for?" Cody exclaimed but I ignored him and went straight to Falice.

"Falice! You've got to help me!" I whisper-yelled

Falice was completely confused and I know that she's wondering why I need her help.

"Ooh.. wittle Weon needs my help.. Why not Cody here? " She said teasingly.

"Stop it. I don't have time for jokes this time. Help me! I need you to act as my girlfriend!"

As the time I mentioned 'girlfriend' , Cody's face was alarmed. Uh oh. Big Brother mode is on.

"Woah...Woah... Woah. Girlfriend? You need Falice to be your fake girlfriend? Come on man. Stop joking."

Cody butted in, giving me a disbelieving look. Well I wish I was joking. Although I'm not.

"I need Falice to be my girlfriend! Please man. Ok so, you know Elise right? My childhood crush?" I asked them

Both of them nodded and Cody asked me what about Elise that I need to make Falice a girlfiend.

"Well, she's here. With a boyfriend. I would never get to this situation but her boyfriend caught me up about me having a girlfriend and might have stated a lie that I have one and her name is Falice.. " I replied and my voice seemed to fade when I reasoned out.

"Elise is here?" Cody asked, wide eyes , as the same time Falice asked "Uh,why me?"

"Yes Cody, she's really here. About that Falice, you were the only girl coming tonight and I trust you to be my fake girlfriend. Hey! Only if Elise and her boyfriend are around."

"Oh no. There's no way Falice can be your girlfr-" Cody was cut off by Falice.

"Okay. Sure. Whatever."

"Please! I need your he- oh really?" I replied , somehow I felt excitement rushing out , eyes wide and mouth open.

"Yes I'm sure and that's final. You might want to close your mouth if you don't want to catch flies." She said like it was so easy to do.

Still astonished, I sat down the front porch and watched Cody and Falice argue.

"Falice! Why'd you agree? You should know what to do!"

"Trust me. I know what I'm doing."

"But how will you do it? You hate it when someone always touches you! Leon is a touchy person!"

"No I'm not!" I butted in. Geez. they're talking like I'm not even there! Such good friends.

"Yes you are! Last year you... " And I didn't pay attention to the rest. Knowing that we'll take time. Glancing at my watch, woah! We consumed 10 minutes of our time. We should better get going.

"... Oh Falice, why'd you got so stupid?"

"I am not! I just agreed! What's wrong with that? I-"

"What's wrong? Geez.Oh my g-"

"Uh guys, I think we should get going. We actually used 10 minutes of our time. " I said while looking at my watch.

"Ok. Leon. We better have rules. You can't be so close to Falice and no kissing! I swear if you-"

"Ok ok I get it. Now let's get in." I said pushing them in.

"Hi Mrs. Deberee!" Falice greeted my mom as the same time Cody said "Hey Mrs. D!" 

"Oh hey twins! What took you so long?" Mom asked.

" Oh. Haha. About that, mum and dad can't come tonight for they have an emergency meeting at I don't where but they would want to give this to you and for Leon buddy here." Cody reasoned out handing my mom a big plastic bag containing God knows what and tapped my shoulder.

"Oh yeah, Hey Elise! I want you to meet my friends, the twins. This is Cody and this is Falice
and guys, this is Elise." I said, introducing them to each other

"Nice meeting you Elise!" Cody said, reaching his hand with Elise's and so did Falice.

"Oh. Cool. You guys are twins? You two look... Different from each other." Elise told them.

"Haha I know! That's what people say and um.. We get that a lot." Cody replied.

"Oh but you both have beautiful brownish eyes. Adorable." Elise complimented their eyes.

Jake! oh I nearly forgot him.

"Oh so where's Jake by the way?" I asked.

"Who's Jake?" Cody said, scratching his head so did Falice made an unknowing curious face. Damn. These two would come great actors I say.

"Oh Jake is my boyfriend." Elise answered them while smiling.

"Cool." Falice said and at the same time Cody commented "Awesome."

They had some small chat while Jake was doing his business but after Jake went out, I noticed that the twins went from cool to their shocked aura. They literally froze when they saw Jake and because of that, I knew there was something wrong. Including Jake.

Although when Jake saw them, his eyes lit up. What a mystery. I could be a detective someday. With that large coat, that cool sunglasses, the cigar hanging by my mou—

"Oh hey Jake! These are Leon's friends and they're twins!" Elise exclaimed to Jake and I assumed that Elise really like them.

"I know." Jake replied suddenly and I became more curious since he wasn't around earlier.

"How'd you know that? Elise asked and Jake simply shrugged and told her that he heard it earlier.

Jake reached for their hands but neither of the twins accepted. The twins just simply said their greetings coldly. I became confused about what the hell was happening and when I glanced to Elise, I knew that she was thinking the same thing.

What I am missing here?
