Annabeth's POV

"Ms. Chase" I was daydreaming again!

Bad Annabeth!

"Oh, um sorry Mrs. Jacobs, what was the question?"

"Just because your transferring doesn't mean you don't have to listen," she talked with such force in her voice

"I know," I murmured trying not to meet her gaze.

"Now, when was John Hancock born?" Really? She thinks this is hard?

"John Hancock was born January 23, 1737 in Braintree, Massachusetts to Mary Hawke Thaxter and Reverend Hancock." Piece of cake. I smirked at Braintree. Annabeth = Brain Thalia = Tree (see what I did there 😊 My friend SeaGreenGirl6 came up with that)

"Very good," and she walked away to another kid who seemed to be daydreaming.

Percy POV

"UHH" I'm so bored! I was clicking through channels when,

"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep, just keep,"...

"JUST KEEP SWIMMING!" I yelled.

"Percy quiet down please."

"Sorry Mom." I winced. She hates it when I yell and I always feel guilty when I do. She does everything for me.

Laundry, dishes, food, cleaning AND taking care of me. Man, she doesn't deserve the none behaving me, wait, since when do I think about this?

"I'm going crazy."

"I thought you would never notice," a girls voice said.

"And now my own brain is against me," I put my head in my hands

"Mom, take me to the therapist, I'm going crazy." She laughed and I looked up.

"Hey! It's Pinecone Face!" I ran over to her. "Where's Annabeth?" She frowned and I put my hand on Riptide.

"She's still in San Francisco finishing school. I thought you knew that?"

"Well since your here I thought she would be too." I frowned. 4 months. 4 months since I've seen her!

"Is she going to visit?" I asked trying to hide my sadness but my voice cracked. Then Thalia did something I would have never in a million years thought would happen. She hugged me.

"I'm positive she will."
