Chapter 5

(Percy's POV)

I looked at Annabeth as she sat crossed legged on her bed, sketching some type if building. Annabeth is here. She is. ANNABETH IS REALLY HERE. I randomly start jumping up and down, squealing.

"Oh my gods Percy! You freaked me out!" With one hand on her chest, she reached up and smacked me in the stomach.
"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy my Wisegirl is here," I lean down and kiss her. She instantly kisses back. Percy likey, likey very much.

"I'm happy to be here too Seaweed Brain." She smiles her perfect smile and I can't help but remember everytime I thought I lost her, and how much I loved her. When we kissed in my bubble underwater. Or when she fell off the cliff and I thought I lost her. The first time I ever met her. She looked like a princess...
and now I'm her prince.

"Woah, is Perseus Jackson, thinking?" Annabeth asked, sounding so surprised.
"Pfft, no," I put on my cutest smile, "I'm just thinking about how much I love you."
"I love you too. If you pull another spider trick like the last one," she glares, "you're going to lose me forever." I chuckle. She should know there's a lot in Perseus's tiny little brain.

Did I basically just call myself stupid?

Whatever. I look over at Annabeth and she's looking at her sketch. Her eyes sparkle. I love her eyes. Except when she's mad. Then they scare me. I don't think I'm ever going to get a chance to tell her she's cute when she's mad. That will be the death of me.

I hear someone knock on the door and I instantly shoot up. I've been sitting down for too long.

"Sup, whoever you are. Can I un shield my eyes. Percy and Annabeth fully dressed? Not making any children?" I roll my eyes.

"Oh, hey Leo."
"Oh, hey Percy, so can I un shield my eyes."
"Yea go ahead," he removes his hands and looks up at me.
"C'mon, you were already taller then me and then you have to go and get taller, I think your done growing," he pokes at my stomach," and your abs are rock hard man! Stay away when I'm trying to get a woman otherwise they won't give me a second look."

News flash Leo, girls don't even give you the first look." He frowns at me, then smiles.
"Im rubbing off on you! Stop using my comebacks and make your own up." I roll my eyes again and look at Annabeth with a 'help me' look. She copies me and rolls her eyes.

"What do you want Leo," Annabeth asks.
"Oh yea, Chiron needs you at camp."
"WHAT!" We scream in unison before Annabeth speaks up.
"We had that whole conversation while we could've rushed to camp?"
"I guess that does sound bad, but to be honest, I kinda forgot what I was sent her to tell you at first," Leo confesses while Annabeth and I gather some needed supplies. We push home out of the way and rush to the lobby.

"Call a cab," Annabeth says while running her temples.
"No I was going to walk the whole way." I call a cab and we gather inside, Leo squished in the middle.

"Hey umm guys? Can we switch. I- I can't breath." I scoot as far to the side as I can to give Leo some room, Annabeth doing the same. I rapidly tap my foot, my ADHD kicking in. Isn't until we are halfway there that I realize my mom doesn't know I'm gone.

I'll just Iris message her when we get to camp.
I guess Goode will just have to wait for now.

Awhile later we reach camp and hop out of the car. Not looking around, we dart to the cabin.
"Chiron, what's wrong?" I ask. He looks at me, his actual age showing.
"The golden fleece, it's- it's been..." he trails off.
"It's been what," Annabeth frantically asks.

"It's been stolen."
