"Strike again. Again." Acacio commands, folding his arms and narrowing his eyes at Braeya and Aidric. Aidric slams the palm of his hand into Braeya's face, knocking her to the ground. "Ge smak daun, gyon op nodotaim!" (Get knocked down, get back up!) Acacio yells, pointing at Braeya to stand up. Braeya turns her head and spits onto the ground before hauling herself to her feet, ready for Aidric's next attack. Aidric steps forward to throw another punch but Braeya is ready, before his fist can connect with her face she ducks down and swings her leg out in front of her, knocking Aidric to the ground. Aidric gasps, surprised as the wind is knocked out of him. Braeya takes her chance and lunges forward, pinning Aidric to the ground. Aidric kicks and squirms but cannot release himself from Braeya's grasp.

"Yu gonplei ste odon," (Your fight is over) Braeya mockingly murmurs before stabbing a makeshift spear through Aidric's chest.

"Daun ste pleni," (That is enough) Acacio says. His voice is stern but Braeya can see the proud gleam in his eyes. Braeya quickly stands up and holds out her hand for Aidric, helping him up from the ground.

"You two are learning well, soon you will become great warriors," Acacio praises and nods his head at the two young seconds. "Go and get something to eat, the hunters would be back by now." Braeya and her friend rush off towards the shack which contains their food. Several hunters stand by it, eating cooked meat.

"There is plenty to spare for you," Oldra gestures with her hands to the food lying next to a small, radiant fire. Aidric bends down, returning with two pieces of freshly cooked meat. An irresistible smell wafts from the meal, reminding Braeya of how hungry she is. The two back away from the hunters, muttering quick goodbyes before retreating to a secluded area of the camp.

"Yu gonplei nou ste odon (Your fight is over), really? Do you want our mentors to think that you're not taking training seriously?" Aidric demands, sitting down on a thick log that lay at their feet.

Braeya stared down at him in surprise, "Of course I'm taking training seriously, what are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about how you're always making jokes." Aidric retorts, taking a bite of his share of food.

"Hey, I beat you in that mock battle, didn't I?" Braeya sits down next to her friend and nudges him with her elbow. "And don't worry, I am taking training seriously. But what's the harm in having a little fun whilst doing it?" Aidric rolls his eyes and Braeya stifles a loud laugh.

"I hope we will become great warriors one day," Aidric sighs as he stares wishfully at the scouts preparing to leave the camp.

"Of course we will... Actually, I don't know about you." Braeya jokes as she follows his gaze towards the scouts.

"Hey! Be serious for once!" Aidric laughs and shoves Braeya's shoulder playfully. Braeya grins devilishly before she steals his half-eaten piece of meat and sprints away, throwing playful taunts over her shoulder. "Braeya!" Aidric yells and sprints after her. Aidric catches Braeya and wrestles her to the ground, the piece of meat forgotten. The two tussle for a few moments before breaking apart, both panting heavily with childish grins on their faces.

The warm smile from Braeya's face disappears as the War Chief, Indra, a woman with short, black hair, dark skin and scars covering her face looms over her with an irritated look on her face. "What do you two think you're doing?" Her eyes show obvious anger.

"We were just finishing up our meal," Braeya retorts, unfazed by Indra's intimidating presence. She ignores Aidric's warning glare and stands up to dust herself off, "Sorry for the commotion we caused."

Indra's glare hardens even further, "Get to your posts with the other seconds," She orders. Aidric stands and nods quickly before grabbing Braeya's arm and dragging her away to the guard posts.
