Unexpected Romance (Katsuki x Momo) (Hiatus)

Sacred Thoughts

A few hours passed after the recent incident between Yaoyorozu and Bakugo, and now they were both in the common area watching a movie. Alone, with no one there except them and the sound of the motion picture.

Momo was on the edge of her seat, watching as the protagonist was fighting with his last to save the princess behind him. 'So intense!' She thinks to herself with a determined look plastered onto her face.

Bakugo turned to see what she was so serious about, leaving him more than bewildered at the girl's actions. "What're you so tense about?", he finally asks out of curiosity and a bit of concern.

The raven snaps out of her trance with a burning blush of embarrassment. "Oh, I-I was just majorly invested into the film. That's all, handsome." Yaoyorozu revised her words for a moment, realizing she messed up when she saw a bright red tint on the boy's cheeks. Quickly, she apologizes to the blond flailing her hands rapidly. "Bakugo!" She exclaims nervously with uneasy amounts of perspiration dripping down her forehead. "I-I-I meant B-B-Bakugo!"

The two sat in awkward silence for the next 15 minutes, too flustered and prideful yet nervous and embarrassed to say anything to the other. "It's okay, beautiful—Fuck, I meant Grey Eyes.", the spiky-haired male responds after what felt like hours to him, though it was only about 5 minutes.

"N-N-No, it's fine, cutie. I-I meant to say Bakugo!"

"Stop saying things that aren't true, gorgeous. I-I mean Grey Eyes, damn it!"

"P-P-P-Please don't say such untrue th-things about me, pretty boy. W-Wait, I-I-I-I-I meant to say Bakugo. I promise!"

"For fuck's sake at least be honest, you sexy motherfucker—-Hold on, that came out wrong."

"I'm not sexy to you?"

"No, you are! Shit, I mean..." The two stopped their apologies and looked at each other with red faces. "Yeah, I meant exactly what I said.", Katsuki says with a small smirk forming in the corner of his mouth. "You're one sexy motherfucker."

Momo blushes at his compliment, unsure of what to say. "B-Bakugo, that's one way of being kind.", she stutters out, "But I-I meant what I said about you as well."

The duo shares a soft laugh before Katsuki brings her towards him, having her head buried in his chest. "I'm feeling a little tired, but I don't want you goin' nowhere just yet.", he tells her in a gentle voice. "Stay here, alright?"

Yaoyorozu smiles at the boy, a sparkle in her eyes. "I wasn't going to leave anyway."

Well, Happy Valentine's Day to all those who celebrate it! This chapter was short, and I will make another one very soon (even though it's probably gonna be after the day everyone reads this story). Anyway, it's 3:30 something in the morning and I haven't slept yet so have a great day and stay safe!
