The harsh wind hit his skin, and Yoongi couldn't help the shiver that overtook his body. In attempt to warm himself up, he wrapped his arm around his chest, shivering every now and then. The long-sleeved shirt he had on only did so much to protect himself from the cold wind.

He had been walking, or more like limping, through the streets for who knows how long now. With no destination in mind, the teenager just kept on walking, simply following wherever his feet took him. It's been like this for the past few days now. He would walk around until his feet were too tired to continue and would then find a place to sleep anywhere he could before waking up the next morning and starting the process over again.

People would often turn to look in his direction, and Yoongi wasn't surprised as to why. It was December, and there slight snow on the ground, and here he was walking the streets in only a long-sleeved shirt and ripped up jeans. His black hair was disheveled and his clothes were covered in dirt and mud stains. But, what probably made people look at him more was the black eye he had. They would look at him before eventually turning their heads away muttering something along the line of 'teenagers these days'. They probably thought he was one of those troublesome teenager, always looking for a fight. How wrong they were.

Looking up at the sky, Yoongi noticed that the sun had set, and that the moon had begun to shine. Had another day gone by already? With a sigh Yoongi decided it was time to go and find where he would sleep for the night. He walked a few more blocks, and eventually he walked into an alleyway, and looked around. It wasn't as dirty has the other ones, and there was a cardboard box laid on the ground that Yoongi figured would be good to sleep on.

So, with that, Yoongi pulled the cardboard box and placed it by one of the walls, before sitting down. It wasn't comfortable, but it was sure better than having to sleep on the cold hard ground.

Yoongi sighed as he laid down and curled himself into a ball trying to keep warm. It had been another exhausting day, and Yoongi began to wonder how much longer he could go on like this. Living on the streets was proving to be difficult for Yoongi, and he wouldn't be surprised if he died from hypothermia due to the cold weather. Even so, if he were to die, then hypothermia would be a better way to die than at the hands of him. And with that Yoongi closed his eyes and drifted to sleep. Dreaming of a happier life.

That dream didn't last long however, because it wasn't even an hour later that the black-haired boy was woken up from his sleep and pulled up from the ground by the collar of his shirt. There standing in front of him were a group of three men, and they did not look happy at all.

"What do you think you're doing here kid?" The one holding him asked. Yoongi gulped and looked at the trio in fear. This was not good. This was not good at all.

"I um... I..."

"Was that too difficult to understand? It wasn't a hard question. So, stop gaping like a fish and answer the damn question!" The other man behind him said angrily.

"I-I was tired and um... I was looking for a place to sleep!" Yoongi answered not knowing if he was shaking from fear or from the cold.

"Really now? Well in case you didn't know, this is our turf, and we do not appreciate people sticking their noses around here!" The third man sneered.

"I-I'm sorry! I d-didn't know! I-I'll leave just let me go!" Yoongi pleaded trying to get out of the others grasp.

"What? Just because you're a kid you think you're going to get out of this?" The first man asked with a laugh. "No, see we don't do that. If we did then people would think we're getting soft, and we can't let that happen, now can we?"
