The next day Yoongi was seated at the table in the kitchen, while Jin finished making breakfast. Namjoon had to head to the station early so he wouldn't be joining them like he normally would. Even though Yoongi hasn't been with them so long he's become close with them and trusted them completely, something he wasn't able to do with anyone else before. He didn't say it, but he was a little upset when he found out Namjoon wouldn't be able to eat with them.
Today though was the day he was going to meet Taehyung and Jimin, and even though he's excited, he had to admit he was more nervous. He's heard great things about them, but a part of him was scared they wouldn't like him.
"Of course, they'll like you Yoongi." Jin's voice said snapping him out of his thoughts. Yoongi looked up, and saw the other placing his plate of breakfast on the table, before taking a seat.
"D-Did I say that out loud?" The teenager asked with a small blush.
"No, but it's written all over your face." Jin chuckled. "Believe me you have nothing to worry about. Taehyung is such a caring person and Jimin will love you."
"B-But-"
Jin placed a hand on top of Yoongi's before giving him a smile.
"Believe me, you don't have to worry. Taehyung has been wanting to meet you for some time now, but wanted to let you settle in first. Jimin has been begging to meet you. He's such a social person, and gets along with everyone so having someone new in the family has gotten him so excited."
Yoongi looked at the reassuring look Jin had, and couldn't help but relax a bit at what he said.
"J-Jungkook-hyung and Hoseok-hyung have m-mentioned them a lot, and it sounds like t-they're great." He said shyly. Jin chuckled, at Yoongi's shy nature, but was glad to see he has been opening up more.
"They are, and speaking age-wise you and Jimin are about the same age. He's only about a year or two older than you, but in his littlespace he's around four."
Yoongi titled his head, making Jin internally coo at how precious he looked.
"I-Is it true t-that anyone can be a l-little?"
"Pretty much. Jungkook mentioned that you seemed interested in the concept. Is it something you would want to try Yoongi?" The oldest asked softly. Even though him and Namjoon have talked about getting Yoongi into littlespace, they didn't want it force on him if the younger didn't want to. They just thought it would benefit Yoongi after everything he's gone through.
"W-Wouldn't it bother you and Namjoon-hyung?" The younger asked as he played with his hands.
"Of course it wouldn't Yoongi. If it's something you want to do and if it'll help you Namjoon and I would love it. We wanted to ask you, but we weren't sure if you were interested. We help take care of Jimin a lot so we already know how littlespace works."
Jin saw that Yoongi still looked a bit conflicted, but figured it was natural. He grew up in an environment where his father probably never let him do anything he wanted. Now having that freedom must be hard to understand.
"How about this? Just watch how things are with Jimin that way you have an idea of how it works."
The teenager thought about if for a second, and eventually nodded. Maybe he could have a chance at a childhood he's never had.
*****
It was around noon when the doorbell rang, grabbing Yoongi's attention. He had been watching Finding Nemo while Jin sat beside him typing away on his laptop finishing up a novel he was writing. Since Yoongi still had his leg cast on there wasn't much he could do, but Jin always kept him company.
