Before taking this job as a secretary, you never would have considered getting involved with your boss. Then again, your past bosses hadn't been the young and beautiful Ms. Wendy Son.

You watched as Wendy walked past your desk, making sure to give you a lingering stare. You shot back an unamused look, discreetly looking around to see if anyone had noticed.

Thankfully, it seemed nobody had which was good; you didn't want to be known as the secretary that was sleeping with the boss.

Not that it was true anyway. You and Wendy hadn't done anything beyond flirting and even then, it was mostly one-sided. Wendy would always make sure to come by your desk everyday with an extra sway in her hips and a cheesy one-liner.

Although outwardly you'd give the impression of annoyance towards her advances, you couldn't deny the attraction you felt for your boss.

Not only was she gorgeous, she was also very kind to everyone she interacted with, yourself included. She really listened to her employees, your coworkers, and was never dismissive or rude.

Yes, she was a very attractive woman, but it was this internal beauty that drew you to her.

Right now, however, it was her natural cheesiness that was making you roll your eyes.

"Oh, Y/N!" She exclaimed, as if noticing you for the first time, pausing to rub her eyes.

She continued, "There must be something wrong with my eyes, I can't seem to take them off of you!"

"Wendy, really?" You laughed, despite your initial embarrassment. Usually you wouldn't have called any boss of yours by name, but Wendy would always insist to be called by her first name.

"Yes, Y/N, really." She playfully wiggled her eyebrows.

You simply sighed, not knowing what else to say. Wendy noticed this, and her eyebrows furrowed. Little did she know that by this point, you were just about ready to ask her out yourself.

Wendy cleared her throat, snapping you out of your thoughts. You looked at her and for the first time since you two had met, she appeared to be unsure of herself.

Slowly approaching your desk, she began to speak.

"So, Y/N." From your seat, you could see a hint of red coloring her cheeks.

"Yes, boss?" You answered, a bit playfully. For a moment, she hesitated, before continuing.

"I know I may seem a bit...forward at times, but there's a reason for that." She stood before you, lightly grazing the corner of your desk with the tips of her fingers. She avoided your gaze, instead looking down at her hands. You waited for her to finish.

"This might come as a surprise, but I'm not usually so unrestrained with the people that I...like." She chose this moment to meet your eyes. You could tell it was not easy for her to speak so seriously. "But with you, it just feels...comfortable."

She paused, waiting for you to react.

You weren't sure what to say. It's not like you hadn't known your boss had taken a liking to you, but Wendy's honest confession had come as a surprise.

"So you're telling me, you're not always this cheesy with everyone else?" You asked. She smiled sheepishly.

"Well, I am, just usually toned down." She explained. She nervously pushed away a stray bit of hair from her face, suddenly looking worried. "I hope I haven't made you uncomfortable."

"I mean, a gorgeous woman flirting with me? You're right, that's pretty horrible." Your statement made her eyes widen.

Flustered, she stuttered, "Then, erm, maybe? I could take you out...to dinner...sometime? To, apologize?" Gone was the confident and out-spoken Wendy you knew; before you was a Wendy you hadn't met before.

You liked this 'other Wendy' already; just as much as you had come to like the Wendy that was confident. And smart. And kind.

"Dinner? With you?" You grinned. Wanting to tease her, you said, "I may not be a photographer, but I can already picture you and me together."

Wendy visibly cringed from the cheesy line that would usually come from her. She coughed awkwardly, and asked. "...Is that a yes?"

You chuckled. Of course you wanted more with her; even if she was your boss, you knew she was worth the trouble.

"Yes, Wendy. I'd love to go out with you."
