I was now back at my little apartment. It was so quiet here alone, and so lonely. There were so many traces of her that it almost drove me insane. I could smell the scent of her perfume in the bathroom, filling up my lungs and brought back the memory of her. Her toothbrush was still in the glass, placed beside mine, like it always was.
I crawled up in the sofa, under a couple of blankets to stay warm. I had to save the electricity, so I could afford having any sort of heat on.
My phone were spammed with messages from Taehyung, asking if I got home safe. I answered him, and we continued chatting with each other for a bit.
How come that I just got home from his place, but I already missed him so much? I really didn't feel like going home, but I didn't want to pay for this tiny apartment if I'm not going to at least stay here.
I tilted my head back, and stretched myself. I was so damn tired, and I wanted to sleep. The only reason I didn't wanted to, was that I kind of felt scared.
To be honest, I was terrified.
The dark sky was painted in dark blue, and I couldn't help but think about all the things that could happen when I was alone at night. My paranoia had grew since the day I woke up at the hospital, knowing someone had tried to take my life away from me. What made me even more frustrated was the fact that I couldn't remember any single thing that had happened the day before.
The shadows in the room felt as if they were moving, and quickly pulled my phone out and lit up the room, before I made a run for the light switch.
Just as I was about to turn on the lights, the doorbell rang. Who could it be? I quickly turned on the lights, and an unsure feeling grew in my stomach.
I slowly stepped towards the door, making sure my steps was as light as a feather. I peeked trough the peephole of the door, and it was a familiar woman dressed in black, standing in the hallway outside.
It was Raini. What was she doing here? I had barely thought about her the last couple of months, nor hadn't I had any communication with her since she started acting like a real jerk.
I slightly opened the door, but just enough that my head could fit. "Hello?" I asked her with a questioning look on my face, and she suddenly jumped a bit. Her mascara was no longer on her eyelashes, it had stained on her cheeks. It was a mixture of mascara and tears. I could tell she had been crying by the color of her eyes, they were as red as her lips. Her hair was messy, and some of her red lipstick, was now on her cheeks as well.
"Are you okay?" I let out, and opened now the door for her to walk in. She took some unsteady steps, and I closed the door after her. "I am so sorry." She cried out, before she fell down on the floor. I rushed over to her, and sat me down beside her. "Sorry about what? Has someone done anything to you?" I asked, while she kept on sobbing.
"You don't remember?" Her face was pale and the bags under her eyes was as dark as the color of the night sky. "I was with you the night you got attacked." She said, before she coughed to clear her voice. "I was in the wardrobe with you, you said something about quitting." She stated, and I nodded curiously. "Before I knew it, Nayeon suddenly turned off the lights and she had brought Savannah with her," she took a short break to breath before she continued. "And they were threatening the both of us, telling me that if I told anyone, I would get stabbed to!" She cried once more. "Nayeon then suddenly pulled out a knife and started stabbing you, I screamed and left." She let out, and I could feel myself getting a bit shaken. I could now remember seeing Nayeon standing with a knife in front of me.
"Thank you for telling me." I assured her, and gave her a weak smile. "Nayeon started beating me later that night, threatening me and saying that she would kill me if I told anyone." She hulked out, and I quickly stood up. I placed my hands on her back, and helped her up. I showed her to the couch, and spread the blankets around her. It was so cold, and the both of us had started shivering.
