Landon: (voiceover) "Previously on Legacies . . .''

The Dragon flew through the sky.

Kenner looked up, holding the knife as he chanted the death spell.

Alaric: (voiceover) "Yesterday, we were confronted by a dragon."

The Dragon reached for the knife.

"Why do you want this so badly?" Kenner asked. "What's so special about it?"

The Gargoyle screeched.

Alaric: (voiceover) "And then, a gargoyle come to life."

Hope, Kenner, Lizzie, MG, Kaleb and Landon were standing by a van and the liquefied remains of Dana.

"None of this started happening until you showed up and stole that knife," Kaleb said, pointing at Landon. "Which is exactly what the other monsters came here to do."

Kaleb was sitting at the back of a bus, feeding on Dana.

MG: (voiceover) "Kaleb."

Kaleb pulled away from Dana, looking at MG

MG looked at Kaleb. "I saw you feed on her."

"Yeah," Kaleb said.

Kaleb and MG were now arguing.

"Dude, you gotta know who you stand with!" Kaleb told him.

Alaric, Matt and Kaleb were standing in the hallway. Alaric injected him with vervain, making him fall unconscious.

Rafael walked up the stairs, Jed blocked his path.

"Foster kid, I've been looking for you," Jed told him.

"Jed, right?" Rafael asked.

"We just want to initiate you into the pack," Jed said. "You don't have a choice."

Jed threw Rafael over the railing and jumped down to the floor.

Hope looked at Josie. "Landon told me he didn't know why he stole the knife."

Landon and Hope stared at each other as they stood in the hallway of the Salvatore School.

Hope: (voiceover) "And then he lied about having it, so I don't know what to believe."

Hope walked away.

Alaric opened the drawer of his desk and picked up the knife.

Alaric: (voiceover) "Whoever wields it has the power to save the world."

Alaric looked at Emma. "Or end all life as we know it. It's hard to say."

Alaric wrapped the knife in a cloth and gave it to Dorian.

"I'll call if I run into any problems," Dorian told him, standing.

Dorian was in his cabin, on the phone and saw a Wraith.

Vines crawled up the screen door of Dorian's cabin and opened it, then moved on to the front door. The Dryad stood walked inside and reached for the knife, touching the edge of a barrier spell. She turned around and found herself trapped in a circle.
