At the Monastery with Jay
The birds chirped with excitement as they danced around each other. It was going to be a good day, Jay could feel it. By now, he hoped that the rest of them got over what happened yesterday.
He walked into the dining room carefully to see none of the ninja there yet. At this, he was sort of thankful. He needed to think.
Jay grabbed a bowl of cereal, and sat down in the middle of a bench. He finally let the thinking begin.
He could tell that the relationship with the others was down spiraling. He was scared. Scared that they couldn't get over this. Scared that they would never be whole again. Scared that nothing was going to be the same again.
That was when he heard yelling from the bedroom. He knew that nothing was going to be the same. He let a tear slowly fall down his face.
At the Monastery with the rest of the Ninja
They all woke up at around the same time. Nya could feel the rage practically coming off from her brother and Lloyd. She knew that they felt betrayed.
"I don't understand why we can't give him another chance!" Lloyd finally snapped.
"Oh, you know why!" Cole shouted back.
"I agree with Lloyd. We can always give chances to people. It wasn't all of his fault!" Kai exploded.
"There is one thing with giving people a second chance. It is another thing to keep giving them chances. Lloyd, don't get me wrong, I love giving second chances, but you cannot keep giving them out because your feelings get in the way!" Nya finally lost it.
"He was controlled by the Oni masks for the last time. It wasn't his fault that he was evil." Lloyd said quietly.
"You need to grow up! Your father is gone. He saved us and all of Ninjago. That man that you saw is not him. That man is not your father!" Cole shouted back.
"He is still in there! I could feel it. He is trying! You would realize that if you gave him the chance!" Lloyd screamed.
Zane observed the fight around him. Something was missing but what could it have been? Sure, there was an argument and that didn't happen very often. Not this bad of an argument anyway. That was when we realized what was missing.
"Guys." Zane said in a normal tone. The fighting continued.
"Guys!" Zane said in a bit of a louder tone. Still, they didn't hear him.
"GUYS!!!" Zane had finally lost it. This stopped the fight.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Kai said as he cracked his knuckles.
"Where is Jay?" Zane asked.
"What do you mean?" Nya asked softly.
"I mean that Jay is not in this room. There is only 5 of us, not 6." Zane pointed out.
That was when the rest of them realized it as well. They all quickly filed out of the room quietly. They walked into the dinning room to see Jay sitting in the middle of a bench looking down at his bowl. They could see that his hands were covering his face. That is when they saw that Jay was crying.
With all of the Ninja
Jay was broken. All of the fighting was filling his head. He knew it was only a matter of time before he snapped.
"Which side are you on?" They all asked at the same time.
Jay looked up to see the rest of the Ninja in the dining room looking right at him. He was not ready for this.
