With Kai and Lloyd
It has been 3 days since the fight between the 2 teams broke out. Kai and Lloyd turned out to be more at odds with each other since then. On top of all of that, Jay became much more distant and closed himself off from everyone. It was like he was his own team.
"I don't understand it." Lloyd said to Kai one day,
"Understand what? Please tell us oh great and powerful one." Kai said sarcastically.
"Why does everything bad always happen to us?" Lloyd asked.
"The answer is simple: Life is not fair." Kai said in a monotone voice.
"But why is life not fair?" Lloyd pressed further.
"I don't know. Why don't you go ask your Grandfather!" Kai yelled with an eye roll before walking out of the room.
Lloyd felt the darkness surround him in a never ending chain. Once again, the feeling that Lloyd promised himself that he would feel again returned to claim its victim.
Lloyd was alone.
With Jay in the Temple of Lightning
This was Jay's sanctuary. Though he only found the Temple a few days ago, it became a place where he could truly be himself.
Flashback
"Come on guys, lets go." Kai said as he and Lloyd started walking away.
"Wait, Jay. What did you mean by watching us kill each other once." Zane asked.
Jay just looked up at him. His eyes that were once filled with happiness and life became dull. Like he was just a ghost. Like he was dead.
Jay opened his mouth, but no words came out. The person who always had something to say about everything for the first time ever had nothing to say. Jay closed his mouth and slowly turned to follow his "team".
Jay lagged behind his teammates to think. He could tell that they were arguing, but Jay didn't care. He stopped caring about everything.
What was the point of life when we were all going to suffer anyway?
That was when Jay saw it. Up in the sky stood a lightning storm. How he wanted to be up there. Up there without a care in the world.
He looked to see that Kai and Lloyd had gotten onto their Elemental Dragons and had flown back to the Monastery.
It hurt Jay. They clearly forgot about the one that was quiet the entire way. Jay continued walking until he heard the lightning. It was like they were sending some sort of message to him telling him to be who he truly was.
Jay flew up there and that was when he saw that this place was unlike any other. There in the middle of the storm stood a building that electricity seemed to be creating a force of peace and calm. Jay walked into this building.
End Flashback
Jay generally came up here to think at this point. With all of the fighting that was going around at the Monastery, he felt like he couldn't breath.
Jay knew what he was doing. He had practically been living in this Temple since 2 days ago.
What happened 2 days ago was a nightmare in its self.
Flashback 2
All of team Jay and Zane were sitting. They were all doing something different.
