"Mom, do we seriously have to move back to New York?" A fifteen year old Caroline asked as she put boxes into the moving truck.
"Yes honey. We've been over this. Your father wants us close to him, which means we go back to New York."
"But isn't he the one who wanted us to move here in the first place?" A seventeen year old Josh asked.
Their mother sighed. "Yes but that was because after the invasion of New York he felt it wasn't safe for us to be there."
"Oh but now it's safe?" Caroline scoffed.
"He just wants us close in case something happens. The world isn't the same anymore, superheroes are everywhere and that means criminals are too. He just wants to keep us safe, especially you two."
"But mom, we can take care of ourselves." Josh retorted.
"I know this move is hard for you guys but try to think positively. Your father is trying really hard to be close to you guys and really wants you two in his life again."
"Fine." The two teens said, knowing what their mother said was true.
"And who knows Caroline, you may see Peter and Harry again."
"Oh man, I haven't talked to them in six years." Caroline said, remembering her best friends from eight years ago.
The three of them loaded into the car and started the trek back to New York.

"Your father insisted that he hire interior decorators to furnish and decorate the place. I told him to not do too much in your rooms so you could decorate it yourself." Their mother said as they walked into their new apartment.
The two teens went off to their rooms and started unpacking.

Once they were done getting settled, it was time for dinner. The three settled down at the table and began eating.
"So you kids will be starting school tomorrow."
The two teens set down their forks and groaned.
"I know, I know but you have to go. Your father enrolled you both in a really nice high school not too far from here. It's called Midtown School of Science."
"Mom, that's a school for really smart kids!" Caroline exclaimed.
"I know sweetie. Your father and I know both you and your brother can handle it though. He showed the school your transcripts and they accepted you both."
The three continued eating and once they had cleaned up, they headed off to bed.
