Ariana 💕
Here I am again, hurling into the toilet bowl. I'm already 2 weeks into my 3rd month, which is the last month of the first trimester. But this sickness is completely ridiculous.
I have an appointment with Dr. Smith on the 18th. By then I'll be halfway through the 3rd month. And I am starting to show a little bit too. It's basically just a check up on how I'm moving along and she's just gonna give me some pointers on what I should be eating to help the baby grow.
I stood up, flushing the toilet then brushing my teeth. After that I got myself ready for a shower. Had I known that this is what pregnancy was like, I would've made sure Kyle wrapped up. But we were probably just too in the moment to care.
And now I'm having his baby.
The same baby that he so badly wanted to have with me, completely lying to my face. Now he's probably living his best life.
I look down at my small bump.
"Your daddy's an asshole. You may not be able to hear me, but that's good because I don't want you cursing." I say.
I took off my Lakers shirt and panties, stepping into the shower and closing the door behind me. I heard Milo bark. I open the shower door.
"I'm right here Milo, I'm not going anywhere." I say.
She just looked at me. I was about to close the door again but she barked.
"Okay fine." I say, leaving the door open.
I should be used to this by now. She refuses to let me do anything in private. Every time I go to shower, she makes sure that she can see me. I come in the bathroom to pee, and she's right at the door. I wouldn't have it any other way though. She's my protector.
I washed myself thoroughly before stepping out and getting dressed. Just as I finished getting dressed, the doorbell rang. I look down at Milo, who was looking at me.
"Were you expecting company missy?" I say.
She looks away from me. I grin, making my way to the door. I open it to reveal Zo. He had a couple grocery bags in his arms.
"Hi." He said.
"Hello." I say.
I let him in, closing the door.
"Zo, what is all this?" I ask.
"Food. Knowing you, you're probably bound to be locked up in this apartment all day everyday, you might as well have food." He said.
"Zo that's sweet. But...you do know I'm only 2 1/2 months pregnant right? I can still shop." I say.
"I know. But I don't trust the world." He said.
I grin. He unpacked the brown paper bags as I sat on the stool watching him.
"Aww Zo, you shouldn't have." I say.
"I wanted to. And I told you that whatever you need, I'm there." He said.
"I didn't even make an attempt to call." I say, chuckling.
"Exactly, that's why I assumed." He said.
I roll my eyes playfully.
"You can't get rid of me Ari, you just can't." He said.
"Sadly." I say.
He gives me a cheeky smile. I laugh.
Ahhh Zo, what would I do without you? 😌

The next day, the Chicago Bulls were in town to face the Lakers. I made my way to the dancers locker room in black Adidas sweats and a white T-shirt. With white Adidas sneakers.
I walk in, automatically being bombarded in hugs from the team. I smile as they all rub my tummy.
"I see it's starting to make its appearance." Alley said.
"You think so?" I say.
"Duh." She said.
I laugh. I watch as they finish getting ready for court rehearsal. I then join them out on the court. I sat on the scorers table, watching Coach Bailey spot them. Then they ran through the choreographies.
While they did that, I took the time to look over at the boys warning up. Zo and Kyle were having a 3-point contest with their trainers and assistant coaches. I turn back to the girls watching them perfect both dances.
They're doing amazing.
Soon I was watching them from the tunnel as they performed. The arena was packed with purple and gold, all cheering on the Lakers. Well....some were here to just stare at Lebron. Like legit stare at the man.
I can only imagine what this place is gonna look like when the Warriors come on Monday. That's looking to be a good game, considering the Warriors are seeking revenge for their loss on Christmas Day, to the Lakers....on their home court.
That's tough.
Sydney was going to meet me in the parking lot after the game. I was in the car listening to music while I waited for her. Whatchamacallit by Ella Mai ft. Chris Brown was playing right now. I honestly don't know what to say for this song, but it is catchy.
She got into the car right when the song went off.
"You in here getting in your feels?" She asked, closing the door.
I laugh.
"What? No." I say.
"Mhm." She said.
I giggle, starting the car and pulling out of my spot. I see Zo walking toward the parking lot with Josh and Brandon. I honk at them, automatically catching their attention.
"Ari!!!!" Josh exclaimed.
"Hey Josh." I say, chuckling.
"I didn't see you dancing today. What happen?" He asked.
I look behind him to see Zo shaking his head.
"Nothing. I've just had a little stomach bug lately. It's been bothering me a lot." I say.
"Oooh okay. Well I hope you feel better." He said.
"I'll try." I say.
He nods. Brandon sticks his hand through my window. I give him a fist bump.
"Alright, I'll see you guys." I say.
"Okay. Be good." Josh said.
"You sure you're not talking to Brandon?" I smirk.
"Go home Ariana." Brandon said.
I laugh. Right as I was about to leave the parking lot, Kyle was making his way toward the guys.
"Alright. Bye guys." I say, pulling off.
I could hear them laughing in the distance as I drove off. Sydney was sitting in the passenger seat cracking up.
"What?" I say.
"The way you drove off at the sight of Kyle." She said.
I chuckle a bit. I then turn up the music a bit as thank u, next comes on.
Oh....that's just great 🙄.
