Can You Hear Me? (SetoSorcerer) (Book 1)

Chapter 8

Captainsparklez POV

*********************       (Expecting that? Didn't think so)

I put down the phone after the line went dead and walked back over to my computer, where I was waiting in the lobby to play hunger games with xRpmx13, at long last.

"Who was it?" Ryan asked, being nosy as usual.

"Team Crafted invited me to a house warming party, well, SetoSorcerer did."

"That's awesome man, I'm going too. The mudkip invited me." He replied, smiling.

The game started and I ran backwards to a chest straight away, but I started to get lost in my own thoughts.

How did Seto know I lived there before? Is she still there? I haven't forgotten, like I promised. Since I was 5 years old I had sworn that I will return there.

When I heard that Team Crafted move in, I started to wait for the perfect excuse to visit the house. When Seto just called. I was ecstatic.

I smiled to myself, I get to see her again. Then I realised something. I wouldn't be able to see her, I've grown up.

"JORDAN!"

I snapped out of my thoughts and sighed as my minecraft character exploded and the dead screen appeared.

I looked at Ryan's facecam and saw that he had his head in one of his hands laughing.

I laughed with him and he looked up.

"Where were you, off in your own little place?"

I nodded, facepalming myself.

"I'm going to go now Ryan, it's late and I'm tired. I'll see you at the party tomorrow." I said, starting to become restless.

"Sure thing, see you tomorrow bud." Ryan said before logging off Skype. I leaned back in my chair and put my hands on my face.

"Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

I stood up and got changed to go to bed, I snuggled into the covers and thought about what will happen tomorrow. Will she still be there?

~**Magical Time Skip**~

I knocked on the door and scanned the house I had once lived in, from what I remember, it hadn't changed a bit.

The door opened slightly, and Sky stood there, trying not to laugh. I smiled and he moved away, leaving the door slightly ajar. I rolled my eyes and opened the door to walk in... and a bucket of water fell on top of me. The laugh of the Bulgarian erupted through the house, along with everyone else's.

I shook my hands that were dripping with water, and spotted Seto in the living area, reading a book. Ignoring the laughter of his friends. Something was obviously on his mind.

I walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He looked up at me, and smirked when he saw me.

"One of Bodil's little pranks." I said, hearing the giggle of the Bulgarian from behind me.

Seto stood up, still smirking but his dark brown eyes were serious, his hood covered the majority of his face, but his eyes were showing at the bottom.

"Let's go get you dried off, I also have something to show you." He said, issuing for me to follow him.

I gave him a look of confusion and he walked off. So I followed him up the stairs. Where Munching Brotato was sliding down the banister.

I high-fived him on the way down and continued to follow Seto towards where the bedrooms were.

He first directed me to the bathroom and got me some jeans and a plain shirt to wear.

I closed the door and got changed. What did Seto want to show me? I guess I'll find out soon.

I opened the door and Seto was nowhere to be seen, I stood in the hallway for a couple of minutes until he finally appeared.

He pointed into a room, so I walked in. It was empty, it was still the same from when I lived here, apart from Seto's clothes and recording equipment anyway.

Jordan?

I jumped back at the sudden voice. I recognised it. It can't be.

"Crystal?" I asked, hoping to get an answer.

"Jordan, close your eyes." Seto said, I pulled a face but closed my eyes anyway.

"Okay, you may open them." He said after a while. I furrowed my eyebrows, and then opened my eyes and gasped.

Crystal stood in front of me, she hadn't changed in any way, she still wore the same clothes, not able to take them off. She had the same hazel eyes and jet black hair. She was still beautiful.

"Crystal. I can't believe I get to see you again." I say, walking towards her.

She stared up at me, not quite taking in that I am actually here. Well, it's been 17 years since we last saw eachother.

"Did you remember me?" She asked, smiling.

"I did, how could I ever forget you." I said.

You've grown so much, I never expected to see you like this

"Well, I got older."

I went in to hug her, but I went straight through her. She looked at me with confusion on her face, then looked at Seto, who had the same expression.

She held out her hand towards Seto, and he took it. He could touch her, but why can't I?

W..Why can't I?...

I held out my hand to hold hers, but it still went straight through. I looked at Seto for help.

"I...I don't know how... I can hold her...Why can't you?" He asked, looking genuinely confused.

I stepped back, tears stinging my eyes.

"Can you two actually hug as well?"

I watched as the two of them melted into a hug, as if they were two actual people. I felt jealousy rising up inside of me. But I pushed it down.

They pulled away, I looked into Crystal's eyes. It really put me down. She stared back at Seto, her eyes filled with love. But Seto didn't notice it.

"I...I have to go, I want to go see Ryan. It was nice meeting you again Crystal, very nice, I'll be sure to visit again."

I then ran out of the room, tears in my eyes again. I ran to the bathroom and ran in, checking there was no-one in there first.

I locked the door and stared at myself in the mirror. I can't be jealous, I can't be. But I am.

I'm not going to split them up out of jealousy, I'm not that kind of guy, I'll let them be happy together.

(I just literally did the opposite of a lot of other books, they would make Jordan probably kill Seto to get the girl. But I'm not doing that. That's sad. Anyway, this is a SetoSorcerer fanfic. So no killing the one and only)

I cleared myself up and went outside to meet up with Ryan, who was on one of the balconies admiring the view.

"Man, I'd love to join Team Crafted one day, or make my own team." Ryan said, smiling.

(Foreshadowing)

I nodded in agreement and stared at the stars above us, watching the world go by.

A/N - School starts tomorrow, oh nuuuuuuu...

I'll still be sure to update though, even if it means writing the chapter at lunch, which I've done before :)
