Just got home. Greeted by our son.

"Dad, where's papa?"

That question hit me, I can't bare to tell him what happened to Hyunjin.

"Dad, why are you crying? Is something wrong?"

I hugged him warmly.

"Papa just went overseas, he'll comeback soon."

He hugged me back.

"Don't worry dad. I know you miss him."

Without the child knowing what really happened, hurts me the most and that lead me to cry even more.

Hyunjin. I'm sorry if I'm not able to take care of you.

I tucked him in his bed.

"Goodnight dad!"

"Goodnight sweetie."

I kissed his forehead and he slept after that.

I went inside my bedroom, our bedroom.

The way it's just me in bed feels something's missing.

He's not here.

My head was flooding with thoughts of him.

God, I miss him.

As time passed by I was fast asleep.

Until a sound of a beeping alarm woke me up.

"Give me more time to sleep."

I turned it off.

That's funny, I don't have an alarm.

I suddenly jumped out of bed and thought to myself

Where the fuck am I?

The place looked so different yet for me I felt nostalgic.

The smell of bacon from downstairs was very alluring, I have no other choice but to go out.

I opened the door and the hallway was filled with pictures of me when I was still a child.

I closed the door behind me and looked at the pictures as every step I take.

"Seungminnie! Your breakfast is ready!"

I heard a woman calling out.

The funny part is, it sounded a lot like my mom.

Wait

I ran downstairs and went to a calendar, it was somewhere on the wall.

"Slow down, Seungminnie you might trip."
I looked behind me.

It was my mom.

"M-mom?"

"Yes, sweetie?"

"W-what day is it?"

"You silly! C'mon eat your breakfast, you might be late for school."

S-school?!

But I already have a job-

Wait, did I just went back in time in my dream?!
