I can't utter a word.

As if time stopped as those words came out of his mouth.

His head was still near my ear, not making a single move.

"W-what did you say?"

I felt him looking at me with those precious eyes of his.

He stood straight, back to his old position.

We looked at each other.

"Do you think I'm not serious?"

I tried to look away but I felt his cold fingertips holding my chin to face towards him.

Without even minute wasted he placed his lips on mine.

It was soft, surprisingly, I kissed back and I can feel myself melting.

He pulled away from the kiss and looked at me.

"Now? Do you still think I'm kidding?"

I just stared at him.

"No."

I said underneath my breath as I looked down, but only to be lifted by him.

"Don't look down when we're talking."

He caressed my cheek only to pinch it.

"You're so cute when you're blushing."

I smiled and slowly putting his hand away.

"It's getting cold, go home now before it gets worse."

"As long as you're here, I feel warm."

He grabbed my hand and held it close to his chest.

I giggled and so did he.

"Can we go out tomorrow? i mean it's Saturday."

"Are you asking me out?"

He nodded.

I laughed. "Ok."

"See you tomorrow, then. Go to the café near the school."

"Ok ok, I will."

He kissed my forehead and walked away.

As I went to my bedroom I immediately fell asleep. I'm too tired that time I guess.

I woke up beside Hyunjin's hospital bed.

Oh right, I visited him.

I kissed his forehead and I walked away, going home.

I got home earlier than I expected, I saw a note on the door saying: I went at your house because your son called me, i packed him up going to school. -Jisung

I picked the note and brought it with me as I went up to our bedroom.

It was always been the same because he isn't here.

I wished to be happy without you but, I don't even know if I can ever smile without you.

I isolated myself inside the room, only to look at the pictures of me and him in it.

A tear left my eye, as I kept on looking, I kept on remembering the times he was beside me.

"You'll wake up soon, right Jinnie? You'll be here with me forever, just like how we vowed to be together 'til' death do as part' ?" I held a photo of him, crying silently.

A few hours of sobbing. I heard the door creaked open.

It was only my son.

"Dad! You're home!"

He ran to me, hugging me so tight.

"I was only away for one night, you already miss me?"

"Of course I do, because I love you."

He kissed my cheek and still hugging me.

"So you're back home, huh?"

I heard a familiar voice at the door as it creaked open more.

"Good to see you, Jisung."
