I awoke from my slumber around ten in the morning. I got up from my bed and walked over to my wardrobe. I took out a pair of black skeleton leggings and a black tank top depicting an angel dancing with death. I got a pair of socks from my dresser, left my bedroom, and entered the bathroom down the hall.

When I emerged from the shower and finished dressing, I looked into the mirror. I was shocked at my reflection. I was still paper white, but I now had emerald green eyes, a small nose, and a mouth full of pointed teeth. My ears were also elvish. I dried my hair and put it into a bun. It was still extremely long and I had been debating in whether or not to cut it for months. I walked downstairs to see mother and father in the parlor. They seemed to be arguing. I walked into the room and they both looked at me due to the creaking of the floor boards.

"Kalleria, your ears have come in! As well as your facial features. Oh but your skin is still as pale as ever. You are absolutely gorgeous daughter."

I curtsied, "Thank you mother," I turned to face father, "is there anyway I could go into town today? I would like to get some things."

He looked at mother and they seemed to meet a silent agreement.

"Yes daughter, you may go into town. Your mother spoke to me of you wanting to apply for a job also. You may do that if you wish."

"Thank you father, mother. However am I to get there?"

"Concentrate on a location. Start with the library."

I closed my eyes and concentrated in the library down the hall. I suddenly felt light headed and hurriedly opened my eyes. I found myself surrounded by old books. I opened the door and walked back into the parlor.

"You, my daughter, are a fast learner."

I nodded hurriedly walked up the stairs. I put in my black shoes and white hoodie. I placed the phone Slender gave me in my pocket and threw a purse over my shoulder. I looked through my jewelry box for my necklace and could not find it. I stood over the banister.

"Mother, father, have either one of you seen my velvet choker?"

"No." They replied in unison.

"I need it. I never leave without a necklace, that's the only one I own."

Mother walked up the stairs and motioned me into her room. She opened a wardrobe filled with jewelry.

"Pick your favorite."

I looked through the necklaces and landed upon a cameo choker. It had a cream colored, braided, rope like chain, and gold clasps. I turned to mother and she helped me put the necklace on before closing the wardrobe.

"I used to wear this often."

"Why do you no longer use it?"

"Well, it was given to me by my mother when I was your age. It was a symbol that I was available, that I had not yet found a mate."

I nodded in understanding and we both returned to the parlor. Father handed my some money and I placed it into my bag. I whistled for Cerberus and he followed me outside. I walked a bit into the forest until I met clearing. I sat down and closed my eyes. Suddenly Cerberus began to bark. I opened my eyes and jerked my head towards the direction he was barking. Sulking through the trees were two large wolves. One was a deep rich black and was slightly larger than the the other, who was a soft brown color. They seemed oblivious to my presence. I silently watched them while Cerberus stopped barking and began to growl. They paced for a while before heading deeper into the forest. Confused, I stood silently and followed them at a safe distance.

After following the large wolves for hours, thy stopped just before the edge of the forest facing a field of tall grass. I watched as the animals turned into men. The black one turned into a man who looked to be in his early twenties with slicked back black hair. His eyes were a mesmerizing blue. The brown one turned into a man who seemed to be around my age. His hair was long, covering his ears and forehead. His eyes were a soft and innocent brown. They walked through the field. I stood back and watched them until they were no longer in my line of sight. I sat in the field and transported back home to tell mother what I had just experienced.

When I arrived home I searched the house for mother, and finally found her in the kitchen.

"Mother I saw the strangest thing.." I stopped immediately in the doorway. the two men I had just saw were standing in my kitchen.

"Kelleria! Come, meet Hunter and his older brother Alec."

I walked into the kitchen slowly as I watched my mother make a pitcher of tea for the gentlemen.

"Would you mind, daughter, showing them to the parlor?"

"Not at all mother."

I walked out of the room with Hunter and Alec trailing behind. I could hear them whisper but could not decipher what they were saying. I made it to the Parlor and the men took a seat. I returned to the kitchen to assist mother.

"Mother, I saw those two earlier. But they weren't men. They were large wolves."

"Yes dear, I know. They saw you too. They wanted to explain. I grew up with their mother."

I nodded in understanding and helped mother carry the tea to the parlor.
