It had been a few months since I left the Slender Mansion to move in with father. I quickly changed into a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a plain black tank, a slouchy oversized sweatshirt which said: Boo Bitches, a pair of vans that looked like space, a black beanie, and a pair of pixelated sunglasses. I grabbed Cerberus's collar and placed it around his neck.
"Ready to go boy?"
He wagged his tail and began to whine. I grabbed a space ouija board backpack and placed a few things inside, including my laptop, the pocket watch Slender gave me before I left, a scalpel, my dagger, and my journal.
"Cerberus lets go."
I left my room and headed down the stairs with Cerberus on my heels. I looked in the parlor and noticed Hunter was in there. Mother and Father were no where to be found. I attempted to sneak past and leave through the front door, but failed due to the clicking of Cerberus' nails on the herd wood floor.
"Hey, Kalleria, where are you going?" Hunter asked.
"To see a few friends."
"Oh, would you mind if I joined you?."
"I guess it couldn't hurt."
I continued out the door with Cerberus at my side, and Hunter trailing behind. We walked into the forest, and to the large clearing. I stood in the middle. Hunter stood off awkwardly to the side.
"Take my hand, Hunter. We won't be able to teleport unless you do."
He reluctantly took my hand and I teleported the three if us to the Slender mansion.
"Where are we?" Hunter asked
"This is my cousins house."
He looked around amazed. I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. Cerberus stood patiently by my side. Jeff answered the door.
"Hey girlie. I knew you wouldn't be able to stay away for long."
I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Hey Jeffy boy."
Cerberus pushed past Jeff. I heard Sally scream in delight. She ran to the front door and hugged me.
"Kylie!"
"I haven't heard that name in a while. Hello Sally!"
She took my hand and pulled me inside. I looked at Hunter and he reluctantly followed us inside. I was drug into the dining room. Breakfast was being served. Everyone stood from the table. They seemed to be shocked.
"Hello everyone."
"Kylie, welcome back. Please do join us for breakfast. Oh, who is this young fellow?" Splendorman asked
"This is Hunter. My mother is friends with his. They seemed to grow up together. I hope it is okay I brought him along."
"It is quite all right. Does your father know you are here?" Slenderman replied
"No I do not think so."
"He is sure to be outraged by your actions."
"I understand Slender. May we continue this conversation after breakfast? There is much I would like to discuss."
"Yes of course. Please have a seat."
Hunter and I sat down. I sat in my normal seat across from Trendorman. Hunter sat between Sally and Jeff. Sally could not stop looking at Hunter. Slender I finally spoke up.
"Sally, it is rude to stare."
She quickly turned her head and stared at her food. Hunter smiled shyly. We finished eating and Slenderman, Trendorman, Splendorman and I walked into Slender's office. Hunter was left to his own devices in the living room. Everyone took a seat and I stood facing the brothers.
"What is it you wished to talk about Kylie?"
"Please, my name is Kalleria. I would much rather you call me that."
"Yes, of corse dear cousin."
"I apologize I arrived unannounced. But there are some things I was hoping you could help me with."
"We can try dear." Splendorman replied
"Well I found out my mother is a wood nymph, a dryad to be exact. And my err... friend Hunter and his older brother are both cursed with lycanthropy. Do you know anything about either of these creatures?"
"Your mother being dryad is what must have given you the features you now hold. I just might have some mythology books in the library. I'm sorry Kalleria, but I know nothing."
"I was afraid you would say that."
"Have you asked your mother or father about this?" Trendorman asked
"No, I haven't. I was hoping I wouldn't have to. Well I guess I should return home. Thank you for allowing us to eat with you."
"It is no problem. And dear, you should come visit more often. I'm sure the others would love to see you." Splendorman stated.
"I will be sure to visit again soon."
"Don't be afraid to ask your father these things."
"I will ask him about it later Slender. thank you for at least attempting to help me in my search for answers."
I hugged my cousins and exited the office.
"Hunter, are you ready to go back?"
He stood from the couch and waked over to me, "Yes."
I whisked and Cerberus ran through the house and out the front door. I took Hunters hand as we walked outside. Cerberus was waiting for us in front of the house. I took his collar and we went home.
