Chapter 4

A force hit the asleep person, causing them to awake. Glairing at the person who caused this, was no other than Thatch, who was smiling like an idiot.

" What?"

" Get up. What time did you manage to get to sleep?" He questioned, dodging their question on accident.

Shrugging their shoulders was his reply as he walked out. Getting changed, they walked out to find Pops was sitting their with different things attached to him as well as sake.

" Hey Pops!"

" Hello (Y/n)." He replied. smiling lightly as he faced the mentioned person.

It was around midday when (Y/n) saw Ace. He kept rubbing his nose as if it hurt him. Wondering what's wrong, they went to ask.

" Hey Ace, what's up with your nose?"

" Hehe, well, I tried to, uh, kill Edward, again, in his sleep, but. He broke my nose." He explained looking sheepish. 

" What about the stuff I told you about, you know, yesterday." 

" Yeah, I know, but, will he actually except me?" He asked.

" Yes, he will, as long as you except him as a father." 

" Ok, thanks for the talk, (Y/n)." 

With that, Ace walked off. Probably to the kitchen to eat. How does he not get fat?

~Time Skip~

It was roughly three pm and the crew where doing the usual. (Y/n) was sitting down by Pops reading a new book they borrowed from Thatch. At the moment in the book, the main protagonist just saved a useless girl that will probably become the damsel in distress if their was any problems and will fall helplessly in love with one of the twins. While the other is in love with her. Also that mother fucker just got scared when they found out that he is a son of a rather dangerous devil and shuns him, but as soon as he is captured she be like ' no, I will not let you take my friend cuz I be friend with him still, even though he has crush on me, Ill lead him on by complementing him and giving attention to him cuz I don't want a TsunTsun miss poker-dot eyebrows to tack him away from me cuz I be a selfish baka!'

" Fuck Shiemi." (Y/n) swore to the selfish baka.  

" Who?" Pops, who over heard their mumbling, asked.

" Oh, don't worry about it Pops." They gave him a toothy smile and went back to reading. Well that was the original plan, but that was interrupted by a freckled guy.

" White Beard!" 

The man mentoned looked at him with a twinkle in his eyes. " Yes, brat." 

" I-I ugh. Let me be one of your sons!" He souted with closed eyes, body tense. 

A few seonds of silence washed over the ship as everyone laughed to brake it. Everyone but a (E/c) person who had a cute smile on their face. Ace opened his eyes to see what they were laughing at but was stoped when he saw the white haired person, next to white beard, hold the smile. He gave a bigger smile back. This caused (Y/n)'s (E/c) eyes to go wide as they was not expecting a smile back. Or him noticing them.

' Is he showing their gratitude? Or is he smiling at any direction? He could be happy that he's getting attention, or he could be noticing that he's a white beard pirate. ' 

Their thoughts came to a quick stop as a deep voice rang threw the air.

" You, a puny brat, wants to be my son," Silence overlapped the laughs as Ace swallowed the lump in his throat ," Welcome aboard, son. Now you have to bear the symbol as one of my sons."
