Jude's p.o.v
It had been a year since me and cally got adopted and today we were expecting a new foster kid. Mom went to get him and momma stayed with us. "Momma what's the new boy's name?" Asked mariana. Lena closed her book and saw us all looking at her. "His name is cameron but he prefers ronnie, hes 16 and hes going to be staying with us for awhile." She said. "I cant wait to meet him since hes my age." I said and looked out the window just as stef pulled up in the drive way. "Their back!" I yelled out and we all rushed outside. I watched as ronnie got out of the car my heart stopped, he was super cute. I felt myself blush so I looked away and heard a soft chuckle. "Kids this is ronnie." Stef said walking over with ronnie following close behind. "Hi ronnie! I'm mariana and this is jesus" Mariana said happily. "Sup." Jesus said. "Hey there." Both brandon and cally said in sync then looked at each other. I looked up to see he was staring at me I blushed more. "O-oh um hi I'm jude." I slightly stuttered
He nodded and looked away. He had a black eye and bruises on his arms. I frowned and looked away from him. I couldn't stand to see that. Soon after we all went back in the house. "So where do I sleep?" He asked looking at me. "Um I'll show you." I brought him upstairs to my room because there was an extra bed since, jesus moved into the shed. "That bed over there." I pointed to his bed. "And this is mine." I pointed to my bed. "Sounds good." He said and walked over to his bed and put his bag down. He sat on the bed and just looked at me. "Is there something else you need?" I asked awkwardly standing there. "Nah I'm fine thanks." He said and laid down. I walked out of the room and went downstairs to grab something to eat.
Ronnie's p.o.v
I laid on my new bed and stared at the ceiling for what seemed like hours. I rolled over onto my side and curled up into a ball. I laid there for while just quietly, alone. Time passed by and I fell asleep.
Jude's p.o.v
I walk back upstairs into mine and ronnie's room to find him fast asleep. I smiled to myself and put a blanket over him and laid in my bed. It was passed 10 on a school night so I fell asleep, listening to the soft snores coming from the other boy.
